25/05/2026: From the phone call to make the reservation to the end of the meal, I can say this experience was unique. This trabocco seats a maximum of 10 people and is open by reservation only, which is why the quality of the food is excellent. The menu, thanks to its authenticity, changes daily based on the catch. We ate several appetizers, both hot and cold (the squid with chickpea cream was amazing), a first course and a second course (a spectacular sea bream steak), and dessert to finish. The meal lasted over 3 hours, especially considering the express dishes. Outwardly gruff, but in reality a whimsical entertainer, Mario is a skilled host who pays attention to his guests. His hospitality, combined with the "home" cooking (truly open to the public!) and the undisputed quality of the ingredients, make this a must-visit for seafood lovers and tasting menus. Saved to favorites.

21/05/2026: What an experience! The location is fabulous, what a spectacle! It overlooks a beautiful beach with both the Maiella and Gran Sasso mountains in the background. The limited seating allows for both the attention to detail and the service. Mario is the soul of the trabocco and a wealth of information. He's a great entertainer and truly friendly and helpful. The heart of the trabocco is in the kitchen, and they truly work hard to satisfy their guests with excellently prepared and delicious dishes. You should set aside at least three hours for the experience, and it's best to arrive on an empty stomach. It's definitely worth it.

15/06/2026: Best pizzeria in Vasto... In fact, perhaps the best pizzeria I've tried in recent times between Abruzzo and Molise. The pizzas are divine, the fried foods excellent. Other appetizers are all made with quality ingredients. The owners and waiters are extremely friendly, and especially attentive to the needs of families with small children. Fast service, even on Saturdays; the kids are pampered and served immediately! Truly unique ❤️ 💯

06/05/2026: We were there last Sunday, May 3, 2026. We ordered two spaghetti with clams, a liter of house wine, water, bread, and the famous brodetto. The first course was just acceptable, quite bland, and the clams seemed frozen. The famous brodetto, priced at €40, was quite bland, and for a brodetto that includes mussels and bony fish, it's significant. Good service, decent location.

17/05/2026: A total disaster and a complete lack of respect for the customer. Absolutely not recommended! Reserving a table at this pizzeria is a farce. The manager who greets customers at the entrance is apparently completely incompetent: she takes dozens of reservations for the exact same time, without any seats available. This creates enormous chaos. Instead of organizing something, taking charge of the situation, or at least apologizing to those waiting, the manager prefers to chat with the customers she knows, completely ignoring everyone else. Furthermore, she is arrogant and unpleasant: she blatantly pretends not to see the people she told to come at a specific time. A total lack of professionalism. Even if the food was good, this terrible customer service completely ruins the experience. It's a waste of time and nerves; I will definitely never return.
