The staff were professional, even though I was in a hurry and pressed them for time, but they were kind and helpful.
01/09/2025: Everything was beautiful and delicious. The only downside was the wait. It was too long. We sat down at 8:30 PM, the appetizers arrived at 9:15 PM, and the main courses at 10:20 PM. Too long for us. The fish was very fresh and the dishes were high-quality, but I would improve the kitchen's timing.

07/09/2025: Far from the quality it once was; they only cater to passing tourists, of whom there is no shortage. The air conditioning has been out of order for two days and there was no notice when booking. The pan of mussels and clams wasn't worth the price (€18). The octopus was overcooked. The fried food didn't contain what was ordered (red mullet and cod), but only four anchovies and the calamari were soft and therefore probably frozen. Prices were out of context.

08/09/2025: A good trattoria serving delicious traditional cuisine, especially the fish-based first courses, such as chitarrina, spaghettoni, and gnocchetti, the latter a bit smaller in portion than the others. Brodetto/guazzetto/zuppa is truly excellent, if served with pasta! The atmosphere is basic, like a trattoria; the only downside is the location.
Friendly and helpful staff.

29/08/2025: A great discovery; being on the seafront, they were brave enough to open a meat restaurant instead of a fish restaurant. Their courage paid off and was more than deserved, given the excellent products and excellent cuisine. The staff was very friendly, even when dealing with some rude people. (It had been raining, and the customers who hadn't booked, instead of asking for their chairs to be dried, voluntarily swapped them for a reserved, dry table.) It's best to book, as the restaurant operates two sittings for dinner. Highly recommended.
28/08/2025: Very nice grill with a wide selection of cuts and breeds of beef from around the world... a wide selection of burgers that looked very inviting... unfortunately we decided to eat the arrosticini which were too commercial and poorly executed... probably the wrong choice.

30/08/2025: A sublime aperitif!!
We chose the first aperitif, which included a seafood platter, a mussel and clam stew, and finally fried calamari and prawns. Everything was truly delicious, the fish fresh. As for the fried calamari, it was truly exceptional; it melted in your mouth!!
A truly enchanting location; eating in a trabocco is an experience you should try at least once!

08/09/2025: Excellent brewery in San Vito Chietino. Friendly management, always ready to recommend dishes and pairings. Wide selection of beers, both on tap and in bottles, as well as bitters, whiskies and various spirits. Very large venue. Recommended.

I don't like the way they sell the food, (the naked sandwich and everything else you can add is paid for).

18/08/2025: Despite the good food, it's not the kind of place I typically like. It's a very casual atmosphere, and that's fine, but it's just not my style. The tables are also quite close to the cages where the animals are kept, and while they're out of sight and can be a nuisance when you're sitting, I don't like the proximity. It's more of a homey place; I'm more into "classic" dining...

04/09/2025: Only one thing speaks for itself: awful! Pan-fried anchovies with garlic, oil, and vinegar were actually boiled and lacking in character. For personal reasons, I can't eat tomato seeds and peels. The table service staff, without even checking with the kitchen, assured me they'd used industrial-strength purée in the fish soup I'd chosen. When the dish arrived, it was very obvious they'd used peeled or fresh tomatoes (which might be better, but unfortunately, they're not for me). A thousand apologies, which I accept. A mix-up can happen. I switched to chitarrine bianche alla marinara: I received boiled pasta with flavorless, probably frozen, fish sprinkled on top. No creaming, but instead, there was a tiny bit of water at the bottom of the plate. Garlic, oil, and parsley were nonexistent. Something tasteless, made on the fly, and even poorly. Literally unpresentable. This job takes love and passion, regardless of whether you're a regular or occasional customer. The service was up to par with the food. It's a shame because the seaside restaurant is very nice, but the professionalism is something else!

25/07/2025: The trattoria offers refined yet homely service. The fish is fresh and well-cooked. Maria and her daughter Marta welcomed us warmly. The seafood chitarrina and the mussel sauté are highly recommended. The outdoor seating is very quaint. The service is prompt. Excellent value.

14/08/2025: The place is quiet and welcoming; the menu is quite varied, and many dishes are also available in gluten-free versions (I especially recommend the pizzas and fried foods, which are excellent for both the quality of the ingredients and the texture and flavor). Highly recommended!
