06/06/2026: Unfortunately, my experience at Lido Esperia was not positive, particularly regarding beach maintenance, cleanliness, and safety. The sea was quite dirty, and the sand was not properly sifted and cleaned: I even found a piece of glass (pictured), a very dangerous presence for anyone walking barefoot. Another major issue concerns the management of the spaces and the safety of guests. On the right side of the beach, right next to the paid beach adjacent to the establishment, crowds of kids played soccer the entire time using a heavy leather ball. The ball promptly and forcefully landed inside the beach, among the umbrellas, where there were children as young as 2 years old. ​None of the beach staff intervened to report the situation or to protect paying customers. It's a shame, the sea is what it is, but at least a little peace and quiet could be guaranteed with a little more supervision. Not suitable for families, but perfect for young people like Maranza, without the risk of warnings and fines.

02/06/2026: Terrible service, incorrect dishes, and general lack of attention; the only attentive waitress was Livia. The food, on the other hand, was very good. Highly not recommended for celiacs; little attention was paid to cross-contamination and even to mixing up plates.

27/07/2025: Siamo stati a cena, menù fisso € 50,00 a persona per mangiare miseri antipasti, una cozza a testa e lo stesso vale per lo scampo, tortino ripieno di baccalà che non sapeva di niente, piselli, lasciamo stare.... Primo con sugo che era veramente imbarazzante... frittura misera, dolce non parliamone. Almeno il personale era gentile.

27/07/2025: Cucina familiare, abbondante, il prezzo fisso ripaga delle tante portate.....cibo fresco e location stupenda.......la proprietaria gentile e cordiale .....vale la pena mangiare su questo splendido trabocco

05/05/2026: Aside from the very fast service despite the Sunday crowds and the well-kept garden where you can eat, the rest is unfortunately bad, and seeing all the 5-star reviews confirms the fact that people don't know how to eat. The sandwich was practically empty and quite dry, but above all, calling something a smash burger that isn't even smashed (most likely an IQF-frozen burger, given its toughness even when cooked from frozen) is almost a scam. Chickenburger, a tasteless cutlet (but at least it didn't seem ultra-frozen either), practically impossible to find in a sandwich. Iceberg lettuce in all the sandwiches Tasteless plastic tomato No sauces delivered. 3 beers, 2 Cokes, 2 waters, 7 sandwiches, 1 chip and 1 pulled croquette (€10 considering that there are €18 sandwiches), total 120 pleurisy. Totally failed.

01/05/2026: We went with a group of 9. They have the best Aperol Spritz, the best fast food in the city and the best music and leisure experience.

24/02/2026: We stopped to grab three pizzas on the go... And I have to say, the pizza was truly excellent!!! Too good!! Friendly staff. I'll definitely stop by again when I'm in the area. Highly recommended!

23/04/2026: At the end of August, we were returning from vacation and stopped for two nights in San Vito Chietino. Our host recommended La Kantina because we wanted to try a fish soup. Excellent advice, and the fish soup is delicious, but you obviously need to order it. The only thing I'd say is that, not knowing the dish, we ordered one each. I'd say perhaps a bit too much, because the portion is generous and that's fine for the variety of fish. However, we had to leave the sauce aside, even though it was delicious. I'd say one fish soup is enough for two people. When we're back in the area, we'll definitely be back.

19/04/2026: We returned here after several years, and honestly, I wouldn't go back. 1) There's no menu with prices, which leads to unpleasant surprises at the cash register. 2) The appetizer was €18, which includes the cold dish (which you see in the photo), and we had two, and then the hot dishes, which you also see in the photo, and that's for two. 3) The roast, which you see in the photo, was a steal: €20 for 1 red mullet, 1 sea bass, 3 cuttlefish, and 1 shrimp... 4) The fried portion deserves credit. The portion you see in the photo is for one person, so it's excellent, even for the price. 5) In total, we spent €90, including free water, coffee, wine, or anything else. A bit too much, I'd say!

06/07/2026: We visited Da Serafino and were truly impressed. The restaurant is located in San Vito, a beautiful town at the beginning of the picturesque Costa dei Trabocchi, a perfect setting for a seafood lunch or dinner. We opted for the set menu, and I must say it was an excellent choice: a formula that allows you to enjoy a complete experience without worries, with truly excellent value. Everything we ate was excellent quality. You could clearly taste the freshest fish and the carefully prepared ingredients. The portions were generous and the dishes well-balanced: each course confirmed the chef's skill in showcasing the flavors of the sea without too much artifice. The service was friendly, attentive, and fast, making us feel immediately at ease. It's the ideal place for those who want to enjoy authentic and sincere seafood cuisine while also enjoying the beauty of this corner of Abruzzo. Highly recommended: we'll definitely be back. Congratulations to all the staff!

03/07/2026: Simple food, well-made and at very fair prices. The setting may not be Michelin-starred, but the ambiance doesn't make the food any better for me.
