Trattoria Valmarana In Venezia

Delicious food in this beautiful restaurant. Great service and a lovely ambiance. A really good menu fish being the main food on offer. Reasonable prices by today’s standards. Recommended.

Found this restaurant on our first night in Murano. Not knowing that much of Murano closes at 5/6pm, there weren't many options to eat dinner at. My wife and I walked by this place, I looked it up on TripAdvisor and saw that it had great reviews so we went in. While we didn't have reservations, they accommodated us, and we were so glad they did - the service was very friendly, upscale, and the food was delicious, and reasonably priced. The ambience was nice, even a bit romantic. We couldn't believe out luck! The dishes were inventive, but still, very Italian. I had a Fusilli with pistachio pesto sauce and burrata cheese on it - so good! My wife had the spaghetti special with guanciale - and she loved it. The only bummer is this place is open for dinner on only Fridays and Saturdays, we tried to come back for dinner again but they were closed! One of the best meals on our trip to Italy (Venice, Rome, Sorrento)!
