What a find! I’ve visited Italy a couple of times and am often disappointed by the food which feels like ‘chainstore’ fare, even in Milan. San Maurì was a little more expensive and upmarket but not too much and was well worth it. Original tasty dishes, beautifully presented. Full marks to the hardworking chefs and waitstaff who were run off their feet but were nothing but courteous and helpful the whole evening.

The place is well-preserved and pleasant, the service friendly, but the dishes are a little disappointing. No condiment on the burrata and the quantity of accompanying vegetables was insufficient.

A truly authentic place with refined author’s cuisine that will appeal to many. Wine lovers will appreciate the extensive wine list. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming with a charming design. Everything is top-notch, yet the prices remain reasonable for the very heart of Milan.

The atmosphere and service was good but the food was mediocre. It was nicely prepared but the tastes weren't that great. We had the Tagliolini Freschi which were too salty and Capasanta Piastrata which were quite chewy. The duck was quite nice but nothing that blew us away.
