We went last week with our 5-year-old son. Excellent porcini mushroom risotto, homemade tagliatelle with ragù, and I recommend the charcoal-baked pizza with scampi and buffalo mozzarella, delicious. Friendly, fast service, modern, and very charming atmosphere.

We spent three nights in Chiavenna and ate at this restaurant twice. The pizzas are truly excellent. But we were particularly impressed by the pasta dishes with mussels or fish. They also had a good wine selection. Fair value for money.

Enjoy delicious food at this cozy restaurant in the beautiful town of Chiavenna. The seafood pasta carbonara was delicious, as were the pizza and tiramisu.

Every year during our stay, we enjoy a delicious pizza at L'Arca. This year it was fantastic again. A pleasant and enjoyable place to stay. The staff is also super friendly. Highly recommended restaurant!

Ich war in Zuge meiner Via Spluga-Wanderung in Chiavenna und meine Vermieterin hat mir das Restaurant empfohlen. Die Gasträume sind modern eingerichtet, aber man fühlt sich sehr wohl. Das Essen war superlecker. 😋 Hier komme ich gerne wieder hin.

I was in Chiavenna during my Via Spluga hike, and my landlady recommended this restaurant to me. The dining rooms are modern, yet feel very comfortable. The food was delicious. 😋 I'd love to come back.

It wasn't the first time we'd eaten there with a group of Belgians. And yesterday it was just as delicious. Smooth and friendly service for such a large group. Delicious food, A wonderful holiday feeling. What more could you ask for? We'll definitely be back when we're on holiday.

La Cucina dell'Ostello

17/08/2025: A hostel run by young, dynamic staff. Welcoming and clean. The location is excellent, quiet and close to the center of Bormio, yet close to green spaces. The lovely garden is a great place to have breakfast (excellent and varied, including sweet and savory options) and lunch overlooking the mountains. Highly recommended.
16/08/2025: A really cool place... organized, clean, magical... you meet lots of people, of all ages... magnificent bar with garden, rooms with very large bathroom, locker, towels and sheets... private parking along the cycle path, excellent breakfast buffet... spacious TV and relaxation room

01/09/2025: Typical dishes, generous portions, excellent service
31/08/2025: Excellent food, fantastic hospitality, we arrived with a large group of motorcyclists (there were 21 of us) and booked just one day in advance (sorry 🤦‍♂️🤣). They offered us a great menu for everyone, and most importantly, for a large group, they served us quickly and we all ate at the same time. Next time I promise to book further in advance 😁 Thank you so much, we'll definitely be back!
