Restaurant inside the Mercure Rome Fiumicino hotel. Spacious atmosphere and average menu. Amatriciana and cacio e pepe are perhaps a little lighter in flavor than true Roman tradition. The restaurant also offers pizza. Courteous and helpful staff. Good coffee and a friendly and helpful barista.

Antico Caffe del Teatro di Marcelo

25/04/2026: It's really an old cafe that I usually visit when I go to Rome because of the service and the delicious paninis, but particularly for a very personal reason of emotion and nostalgia.
15/04/2026: The cappuccinos were delicious and reasonably priced at €3.50; we've paid considerably more in Rome. The restroom was also okay.

25/01/2026: We had a really lovely lunch here on a wet Saturday! All the food was really nice, excellent antipasto, good portion size and reasonable prices. Very nice service.
15/08/2025: Slightly outside Formello, surrounded by greenery. Nice place with ample parking, home-cooked food, and friendly staff. The house wine is cheap, the local vegetables are excellent. We had excellent fettuccine with meat sauce, as was the chicken with peppers. Reasonably priced, we had a great time. The only complaint is the chairs... the most uncomfortable I've ever sat on. Otherwise, I'd recommend it if you're looking for a casual, homey place.
