I returned after several years and unfortunately my memory was not confirmed. Beautiful and well-kept environment. Kind staff, but in my opinion, for the prices charged, something more would be needed. The quality of the raw material is not up for discussion, but the finished product could be improved. Very salty stuffed mussels, prices above average.

As always, a charming place that deserves a visit at least once. Very good food with portions that are anything but small. Menu with a choice of seafood and meat and everything very appetizing. Compared to the last time, about 3 years ago, the prices have increased but, overall, it is still worth it because you eat really well and, you eat, you absolutely do not leave hungry. We were 4 of us: 3 appetizers and 1 first course (as a first course), then 3 first courses and 1 second course (as a second course), then 1 plate of mussels (we were too greedy), 2 desserts, 2 glasses of sweet wines, 3 waters and 1 bottle of wine of which I do not remember the price. At the beginning of the dinner they brought two entrées and after the dessert 3 small samples of pastries. I highly recommend it and I also recommend going during the week and avoiding the weekend because during the week it is quieter (we went on a Wednesday evening).

Excellent raw materials, well treated. Starred plating. I have been going there for about 20 years; some changes in the menu over the years, but certain dishes are a certainty, reinterpreted. Excellent. Spending on the rise in recent years, an increase of about 20%, sometimes unjustified, a trend unfortunately common throughout the area, not secondary to the discovery and diffusion by influencers. About 70-80 euros per person excluding wine.

Beautiful restaurant with the Apuan Alps behind it and a splendid terrace overlooking the sea. Excellent food, everything. They are also a winery, we had both their red and their white .. both excellent. I have no negative comments, the price is obviously not that of a suburban trattoria, but this cannot be a surprise given the refinement of the environment, the service and the dishes

Torno in questo ristorante dopo qualche anno e lo ritrovo perfetto, la tartare di tonno e yogurt magnifica i tortelli pere e pecorino davvero unici. Porzioni giuste, personale gentile. Rapporto qualità prezzo onesto. Torneremo sicuramente.

For us a fixed stop both in winter and summer. Excellent value for money and a menu that varies greatly based on seasonal ingredients. If we evaluate the location, the service, the quality of the raw materials and the level of taste and presentation of the dishes, I must say that it is undoubtedly one of the best in Versilia!

Per chi cerca un locale romantico con cucina veramente ricercata vi consiglio il Ristorante il Trillo da dove si può vedere il Castello Malaspina a Massa, qui potrete mangiare sia all'interno che all'esterno sotto la splendida limonaia con vista mare. Pietanze curate e deliziose, una vera gioia per gli occhi e per il palato.😋
