Very classic dishes, nothing wow-worthy or innovative, but excellent quality and attention to detail. The service was impeccable, too. We started with tartar and stuffed mussels (slightly salty), followed by cheek (which melted in the mouth) and the fish of the day. I also recommend the desserts; we opted for the apple pie and the mascarpone pie (pictured). They also brought us an amuse bouche and, along with the desserts, an assortment of their small pastries. The wine list is also good.

Absolutely fantastic food and great service. Surprising flavours and great wines.

Went back for a second time. Food was again of very high quality; just felt a tiny touch less WOW this time. Great cocktails and wine list; we’ll be back next year again!

Always a guarantee at Filippo's! Delicious scampi carpaccio, beautifully presented, a shame to eat! The rest was equally delicious. Everything was prepared with extreme simplicity but with refined taste. The waiters and chef were equally excellent! In short, highly recommended.

Wonderful experience! The spaghetto vongole was exceptional as well as the calamari fritto (especially loved the basil mayo). The service was attentive and professional. Would definitely return soon.

We expected the WOW, but it didn't arrive. We visited this highly renowned, Michelin-starred restaurant with very high expectations. The lunch was undoubtedly excellent: the quality of the ingredients and the attention to detail in the dishes are undeniable, as you can see from the photos. What was missing, however, was the "WOW" effect we hoped for from start to finish. The setting seemed rather cold, perhaps too formal, and unfortunately, we ended up at a lunch where other guests' dogs didn't help maintain a relaxed atmosphere. It's a shame, because the food is truly worth it. Perhaps we'll try it again in a different context.

SO AND SO. Given the good reviews we decide to try the restaurant da Filippo. As soon as we arrive they make us choose whether to eat outside or inside, we opt for outside. We don't start off very well when the couple who arrived after us were welcomed first and served first, but an oversight can happen. We choose the 'so it is if you like' menu, after the third course we realize that the menu was wrong and we proceeded with the seafood one, our fault for not having pointed out the mistake, unfortunately however we have reached the second oversight. The food is good, but not excellent as advertised. Disappointed by the sprinkling of 'crusco' pepper, being originally from those areas I know it very well and honestly I remember a different and less 'powdered' flavor, the chef will surely have understood what I'm talking about. The tables outside are literally in the dark and it's really difficult to see what's on the plate. The truly exceptional thing is the bread, with a FANTASTIC leavening and an excellent flavor! The price was influenced by the exchange of menus, we rightly spent for what we ate. The customer-chef relationship, which is usually found in certain places, was zero, too bad, a comparison or acquaintance is always nice. Unfortunately I don't feel like recommending it. Seafood tasting menu. Highly recommended. Service - maybe for a very busy Saturday - could be improved a little. But absolutely recommended!
