Lo Scalco dell'Aquila is a guarantee! I often come to this restaurant and it never disappoints me. The food is always genuine and delicious, the raw materials are sought after and excellent, the service is always top notch. Kind and competent staff. The quality/price ratio is correct. Quality is never taken for granted here. Highly recommended!

Ristorante consigliato in tutto e per tutto....piatti buoni e ricercati ma senza esasperazioni di sorta...da mettere in evidenza le spettacolari chips di melanzane da aperitivo e le salsicce al cerasuolo....personale sempre presente e molto cordiale... cantina di vini ben fornita con etichette italiane e francesi...locale pulitissimo e ben tenuto...la cena è terminata con un ottimo liquore di alloro fatto da loro...

Ogni volta che passo per L’Aquila devo assolutamente mangiare in questo ristorante, di cui apprezzo moltissimo la cucina e l’atmosfera raffinata e curata.

Courteous, professional and politely available staff towards the customer's needs. Menu with satisfying choice options. Careful presentation, attentive and fast table service. Staircase to access the toilets equipped with stairlift. Clean, welcoming rooms, pleasantly furnished and heated without excess. All set in the splendid architectural setting of the ancient Ciavoli-Cortelli noble palace, along Via Minicuccio d'Ugolino, with a view towards the beautiful Capoquarto church of San Pietro a Coppito and the Piazza Capoquarto of the same name (Quarto di San Pietro). The restaurant is also easily reachable either on foot along Corso Principe Umberto, Via Andrea Bafile and Via Roma (coming from the Quattro Cantoni) or from the nearby square and via di San Domenico, or by car (and even on foot) parking for example along Viale Duca degli Abruzzi - Viale Giovanni XXIII and walking a few hundred meters along Via Roma towards the city center.
