Guest of friends, I found this very nice and well-kept place immersed in a very pleasant natural environment. The offer of dishes and the wine list is particularly oriented to the territory, this means that the dishes produced with local raw materials and well served leave an excellent memory not only on the palate. The icing on the cake, in this period, I discovered that even in this area you can find an extraordinary white truffle. I can't comment on the price as I was a guest but the service, courteous and punctual, and the quality of the dishes are definitely worth a visit.

Very kind, excellent food, excellent advice, an experience to be repeated, I had never been in the area but I will return just for this place. Well done

I can say that it is truly a beautiful place, with beautiful lakes and beautiful surrounding greenery. Not to mention the food and service which was truly top notch. Inside the location it is clean and tidy, a real place to eat and stay in peace. I will definitely be back!

Per noi è stata davvero la destinazione perfetta per per un pranzo rilassante. La cucina offre un'ampia selezione di piatti, sia a base di carne che di pesce, ma ciò che li rende davvero speciali è l'attenzione meticolosa ai piatti tipici della tradizione. Da quanto si legge dal sito web, la scelta dei prodotti è basata su criteri di genuinità, con una preferenza per la filiera corta, garantendo freschezza e sapore autentico. E confermiamo la qualità ritrovata nei piatti. La carta dei vini, è ricca di etichette Doc e bio provenienti dai migliori vitigni del sud Italia e non solo. Tra i piatti che abbiamo avuto il piacere di gustare, ci sono le linguine con baccalà e pepi cruschi, un vero tripudio di sapori, mentre le tagliatelle ai porcini della Sila si sono manifestate in una inaspettata autentica delizia. A seguire, la salsiccia arrostita a ferri, aveva quel tocco casalingo che la rendeva irresistibile, e la grigliata di pesce con la seppia e lo spada semplicemente sublimi. Ma il culmine dell'esperienza è stato il dolce finale, con gli originali tartufi di Pizzo che hanno chiuso il pasto in modo memorabile. Il ristorante "Lago La Moretta" è un luogo dove la natura, la tradizione culinaria e l'ospitalità si fondono in un'esperienza gastronomica straordinaria. Non vediamo l'ora di tornarci per assaporare nuovamente questi deliziosi piaceri culinari.

For us it was truly the perfect destination for a relaxing lunch. The kitchen offers a wide selection of dishes, both meat and fish based, but what makes them truly special is the meticulous attention to typical traditional dishes. From what we read on the website, the choice of products is based on authenticity criteria, with a preference for the short supply chain, guaranteeing freshness and authentic flavour. And we confirm the quality found in the dishes. The wine list is full of DOC and organic labels from the best vines of southern Italy and beyond. Among the dishes we had the pleasure of tasting, there were linguine with cod and pepi cruschi, a true riot of flavours, while the tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms from Sila turned out to be an unexpected authentic delight. To follow, the grilled sausage had that homemade touch that made it irresistible, and the grilled fish with cuttlefish and swordfish were simply sublime. But the highlight of the experience was the final dessert, with the original Pizzo truffles closing the meal in a memorable way. The "Lago La Moretta" restaurant is a place where nature, culinary tradition and hospitality come together in an extraordinary gastronomic experience. We can't wait to return to savor these delicious culinary pleasures again.

Ein sehr schönes Restaurant. Urbaner geht es nicht. Das Essen sehr lecker, die Wirtsleute sehr freundlich. Urlaub Abseits der Touristen-Restaurants.

Bella scoperta! Si mangia sia pesce che carne con lo sfondo del laghetto e in una piccola oasi di pace. Piatti ben fatti, buona la qualità.

Siamo stati oggi, per un pranzo in famiglia, circa una decina di persone. Scelta ristorante in base ad altre esperienze positive ma stavolta Marco(proprietario) e tutto il suo staff si sono superati. Dopo aver programmato e stabilito un menù ci siamo recati a pranzo in questa location incantevole, pranzo davvero squisito, servizio impeccabile e conto giusto ed adeguato alla qualità di quanto scelto. Ho casa da circa 35anni qui in terra calabra, ed è il nostro punto di riferimento quando vogliamo mangiare pesce freschissimo in una location davvero rilassante, fresca, molto curata e speciale. Situata in periferia di Santa Maria del Cedro fuori dal centro cittadino, è presente un piccolo laghetto molto suggestivo e si mangia davvero benissimo. Ristorante straconsigliato e Marco è davvero un padrone di casa gentilissimo e disponibile ad accontentare ogni tipo di richiesta. Punto di riferimento da anni nelle nostre vacanze estive in Riviera dei Cedri. Chapeau.🔝
