Short stay: excellent breakfast, strategic location, available parking, and friendly staff. Recommended

The bed mattress was saging in the middle and gave us back pain and needs replacement. The bed room furniture needs repair and painting.The hair dryer is useless and very weak to dry hair.

The most beautiful hotel!! The most beautiful!! I recommend it from the bottom of my heart! Delicious breakfast and impeccably clean! The receptionist and the security guard were very kind and nice! ❤️

When you book, Booking will tell you that additional taxes may apply! But, after the reservation you learn that you need to count additional % for service and staff! Than 25 Euro / day for parking; then city tax; and finally make sure you have booked the room with breakfast or you will pay additional 15 Euro/person! BTW the breakfast is superb - rich and typical Italian! It could be my lack of information of hospitality industry in Italy but regarding breakfast and parking, where I come from we take it that they are part of the deal! Apart from these - a really nice and welcoming place and staff!

Very convenient by train station. AC is a blessing in the heat. Clean crisp sheets on bed with all amenities expected in a nice hotel. After hustle and bustle of Bologna, Excelsior is a quiet sanctuary.
