Where luxury, elegance, and normality blend with the ancient and the modern. 1. The service is very clean and attentive. 2. The cuisine is uniquely elegant, with dishes as beautifully designed as a Monet painting, even though they're traditional. 2. The staff is highly trained and refined in their table service. 3. Generous but high-quality menu, exceptional first courses (penne and risotto: a second). Very good dessert (homemade tiramisu). Fair bill.

Everything was excellent and genuine, dinner among colleagues, it's a shame they weren't very attentive to me as a vegetarian... maybe they hadn't been warned.

Frankly, I expected something more. The food was good but certainly not wowwwww. The place was a bit stale for my tastes, it seemed a bit like a little club where you always meet the same faces... there are better places, especially for the quality/price ratio.

I would recommend it especially for a business lunch or a high-class corporate dinner. Or for a dinner for two or an intimate family lunch with white gloves.

Today I'm in Milan with colleagues in the Sesto San Giovanni area for work. It's lunchtime, and it's close to us. We use Google to see where we can have lunch, and we decide on the Pot of Gold. We book and they confirm availability. As soon as we arrive, we immediately find parking in front of the restaurant and are already struck by how unique the entrance is. A staircase with an automatic door welcomes you, immersing you in a style that harks back to the history of a classy and historic Milan. The staff quickly seats us, and we pass through a corridor where the entrances to the various rooms are located. In an instant, the waiter brings us the menu, and we are immediately served water and, immediately after, selected the wine. We decide to order the house dish and a portion of lardo to nibble on in the meantime. In less than five minutes, a trolley arrives with a huge wheel of Parmesan cheese. They set it on fire to melt it, and inside it is placed the pasta and mixed with the melted cheese. What can I say? A simple dish with infinite flavor, paired with a good wine, guarantees a top-notch lunch. Unfortunately, we don't have the space or time to try other dishes, but we'll definitely be back when we're in the area. 🙂
