Osteria Italiana In Milano

Bellel was our waiter and he was absolutely fantastic! He could read my eyes what I wanted?! For real. I recommend this place so much.

We stopped here for dinner close to our hotel in Milan and were impressed enough that we went back the next night--and I'm glad we did, because the experience was much better on night two. Night one, we were quickly seated but our server never offered us complentary bread which was offered to all other tables, and we were never offered a dessert menu to look at--fine, we weren't super hungry anyway. In any case the food was tasty enough that we decided to return for a second meal the following evening. Night two we were also promptly seated without reservations, and this time there was bread waiting for us immediately. Our server Mimo was fast and friendly, joking with us and offering a dessert menu and limoncello to finish the meal. The food on our second night was arguably a little worse than night one (pesto pasta was slightly cold and the steak cut salmon was NOT the dish I was expecting), however having an engaged and friendly server more than made up for it. The creme brulee dessert was great. My only other criticism would be that on both nights, a rose seller came into the restaurant and was trying to sell roses to the diners. We have seen tonnes of these guys with their tourist trap schemes all over Italy, bothering people at the outside tables, but never inside the restaurants themselves. I expected them to kick him out, but they seemed very cool with it and some of the staff chatted with him. This was a bit of a disappointment, especially seeing the same thing occur on night two. Perhaps they have cut a deal with him, I don't know. This brought the atmosphere down in my eyes. Overall though this was a good experience, not too expensive and better than a lot of the places nearby. Once again shout out to Mimo for being an awesome server. Well worth a look if you are near Milano Centrale station.

The staff were all so friendly, the restaurant had a great atmosphere, and there were lots of customers. We made some great memories during our trip to Milan with our family. Thank you!

I was staying at a nearby restaurant and noticed it was busy, so I went in to try it out. The food was surprisingly amazing and delicious!! Especially the seafood pasta and mussels 😍😍😍 We ordered a spritz and a negroni, both of which were excellent! I'd definitely go back if I had the chance 😍😍😍

El lugar estaba limpio y amable. Parada para una pizza y beber con amigos. Muy turístico y me siento mejor lugares para más una auténtica experiencia italiana. Los precios estaban bien y estaba bien para un bocado rápido para comer.
