Located inside the enchanting Castello di San Marco, Giardino di Pietra restaurant offers an elegant atmosphere, attentive staff, and exquisitely crafted dishes, both in taste and presentation. The baccalà with mint ice cream; Shrimp tartare and the red snapper crusted with cuttlefish ink, served in a clam and saffron reduction, deliver a refined and intriguing balance of flavors. The highlight of the evening was the Pluma pork, accompanied by a garnish of sea urchin and other delicate elements an absolute must try delicacy. To finish, a Sicilian herbal liqueur served with star anise and rose petals provided a truly unforgettable ending. Definitely, I will back!

Beautiful setting impressive wine list but a difficult menu card. Some dishes far fetched and very small portions. Also with the sauces they were stingy.

Great experience, the quality is super good, the meat just incredible! The service is top notch, just the small downside is the quantity, but that doesn't affect the bill because I'm a very big eater and these are portions from a gourmet restaurant! I recommend the experience!

A special last evening in Sicily Our last evening in Sicily started rather unusually. After a visit to Taormina, we didn't want to just spend the evening at the motorhome. A Google search showed that this restaurant was the only one in the area that was open that evening - and the consistently positive reviews piqued our curiosity. We were all the more disappointed when we found ourselves standing in front of a locked gate at 7:30 p.m., even though according to Google it should be open from 7 p.m. Luckily we didn't give up and called the phone number provided. A very friendly gentleman got in touch, asked about our wishes - and had apparently already spotted us and our two dogs via a camera at the gate. Shortly afterwards we were shown to reception and warmly welcomed. After a short consultation, the gentleman personally accompanied us to the restaurant. What followed was an evening full of enjoyment: lovingly prepared, unusual and extremely tasty dishes, as they have already been aptly described in many reviews. However, we were particularly touched by the authentic friendliness and motivation of the entire team. Nobody was bothered by our dogs or our camper outfit, which was certainly not suitable for a restaurant. We felt completely welcome and thank you very much for this wonderful last evening on your beautiful island!
