We were passing through and stopped for lunch, so I can only comment on the food: we had a great time, excellent food, good wine, and a very refined and pleasant atmosphere. A small mix-up with a dish was resolved in a polite and brilliant manner. I highly recommend it.

We had dinner. Antipasto with tigelle and gnocco fritto, cured meats. Excellent first courses. Superlative rabbit. Top dessert.

For a special family occasion, we had lunch on Monday, June 23. Location easy to access. Antonio, the owner, a kind and helpful and knowledgeable person. Excellent Grilled steak, fantastic fried gnocco... I think it's the best I've eaten, quality cold cuts and a wide selection of wines. Thanks and see you next time!

Clean rooms but a bit cramped. The soundproofing is not the best, you can hear the snoring of the neighbors and I will not add anything else. The bathroom is small. For location there is no noise from outside since we are in the open countryside. The staff is nice and helpful.

La Locanda Romana

02/11/2025: Nestled in the Modena Apennines, we found this osteria that delighted us with handmade tagliolini with fragrant black truffle, followed by delicious fried porcini mushrooms that will forever remain in our hearts! The place is welcoming and bright! The desserts were also excellent and homemade! We'll definitely be back 🤩
06/10/2025: We went for dinner with friends, and I must say the food is always good, both the traditional mountain cuisine and the pizza! With the dining room full, we were quite bothered by the noise from other diners...perhaps the place needs better soundproofing. In the summer, you can also eat outside.
