A couple's lunch after a short stroll through the streets of Vigevano. The restaurant is elegant and informal. The staff serving us was attentive and friendly. Let's get to what we tasted: we both had an appetizer, a terrine of foie gras with brioche bread and red onion jam. A delicious dish in its simplicity. To follow, a confit goose leg with potatoes and spiced apple puree, and a goose cured meat platter that included cooked and raw goose salami, raw goose ham, and foie gras bread. Choosing this dish might seem like a repeat after the appetizer, but given its variety, it was a pleasant choice. My husband definitely enjoyed the leg. We washed it all down with microfiltered water and a bottle of Barbera, served at the perfect temperature and at a very reasonable price. Two espressos (really well-made) to finish. What more can we say? We'll definitely be back to try other options because we were truly satisfied with our visit. See you next time. T&F

I stopped for lunch here during my visit to Vigevano, but the experience left me a bit torn. The dishes were good and carefully prepared, but overall the value for money wasn't convincing.
The restaurant is very informal, and the location is unremarkable, although the prices are slightly higher than you might expect from the outside. At this point, I would probably have preferred to eat right in Piazza Ducale.
The service was average. The biggest disappointment was the goose leg: despite being the second most expensive item on the menu (€26), the portion was quite small, and the side dish was also very poor. Considering the price, I would have expected a much more generous dish.
Overall, the food is good, but the location, portions, and value for money didn't entirely convince me.

We arrived at the last minute due to an unexpected event, but were welcomed even though the kitchen was about to shut down.
The service was professional and patient with the children.
The dishes were very tasty.
I recommend trying Grandma Bruna's platter (goose cured meats and pâté).

Very friendly, and the food was good.
I'd like to take this opportunity to warmly thank the lady in charge and all the staff for their helpfulness when my wife injured her ankle following a bad fall. A truly welcoming atmosphere. Thank you. C. Rosada

The food is always excellent, and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The atmosphere is pleasant and refined, though the only downside is the limited space. The prices aren't exactly cheap, but given the ingredients used and the unconventional preparation (as well as a menu that changes with the seasons), they're more than justified. If you're in Piazza Ducale in Vigevano, you absolutely must come here!

The goose cured meats and mortadella are very good, and the smoked ham is delicious. The duck leg was well-cooked, tender, and flavorful! The service was quick and professional. The outdoor tables are a bit small and partly in the sun, but we ate lunch inside.

Excellent restaurant, very well-maintained inside, with a cool and pleasant outdoor seating area on the pedestrian street. Carefully prepared, goose-based dishes are of good quality. Impeccable service, and prices are reasonable.

I had dinner with my husband, featuring a goose platter, and a superb goose leg and potatoes as a main course. The dessert and bitters were also delicious. Everyone was very kind and helpful.

I went to L'Oca Ciuca for lunch during a trip to Vigevano last Saturday. The food was excellent, and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
I'd fallen 20 minutes earlier, and they took care to provide me with ice and hand sanitizer!
Thank you again so much 🥰

We had the pleasure of lunch at L'Oca Ciuca, and it was a truly excellent experience, one you'll fondly remember.
We began with a splendid platter of goose cured meats, rich in authentic flavors and perfectly presented: high-quality products that showcase local tradition with taste and elegance.
The true masterpiece, however, was the risotto with creamed peas, goose ham, and Branzi: a refined, balanced, and surprisingly harmonious dish. Branzi, one of the iconic cheeses of the Brembana Valley, gave the risotto a creamy, intense note without overpowering the other flavors, creating a truly wonderful combination.
A special thanks goes to the lady who welcomed us and accompanied us throughout lunch: an impeccable hostess, kind, welcoming, and very professional in presenting each dish with passion and expertise. Her pleasant company made the lunch stop even more enjoyable and relaxing.
A restaurant that combines quality, tradition, and human warmth: absolutely recommended to anyone passing through Vigevano.
