Everything excellent. I would just like to advise the owner to pay more attention to the comments. Unfortunately, sometimes there are people who eat little not because they are on a diet, but because they have serious health problems

Excellent, tasty food with excellent products, I had never eaten goose and I was pleasantly surprised, everything was good from the cured meats to the first courses, I will return to try the meat. Advised.

Fine cuisine, well-chosen raw materials, courteous and knowledgeable staff. Place worth trying but given the limited choice of dishes difficult to try again. Deserving dishes but they lack that inspiration to be memorable. In the end, between small courses, good but not surprising food and an ordinary price, it is a place where you leave happy but not enthusiastic. It's a shame to give 4 stars, but there aren't 4 and a half stars.

Locale situato nei pressi dell'ingresso del castello di Vigevano, nello stile ricorda un po' le trattorie di una volta. Piatti ben eseguiti come le tagliatelle al ragout d'oca, la quaglia e la coscia d'oca al forno croccante con patate, eccellenti gli affettati ed il paté d'oca. Prezzo in linea con la qualità. Consigliato.

On Monday evening, a dinner with former colleagues, I ate just right, it didn't bother me, the quality and price were adequate, for four thirty-five euros, no one took the wine and dessert, starter and first course.

Trattoria Il Ceppo

08/12/2024: Rustic place, family atmosphere, excellent food with generous portions and if you want they also ask you if you want to do an encore (which starts from the starter to the second course with the side dish). Recommended to go there any day of the year.
20/11/2024: Genuine, atypical food with fresh local products. Bonarda is also good, for those who drink red wine. It is one of my favorite destinations when I am in the hills of Pavia. Prices normal. Advised.

Trattoria Ressi

04/12/2024: A Sunday lunch with friends, among the flavors and history of little Pavia. An obligatory stop is the Ressi restaurant, a family-run restaurant, with an interesting a la carte menu and a good choice of wines. To end the lunch, try their amaro made with 18 medicinal herbs, some I guessed, the others I'm identifying (I bought a bottle).
23/11/2024: Nice restaurant 2 steps from the center (but in the centre). Small room (better to book), well-kept room (kitchen access could be improved), not noisy. Ortimo service: welcoming, polite, familiar and attentive. Traditional Lombard dishes. Goat's cheeses are interesting and intriguing. To return.
