La Darsena In Tremezzo

I visited for dinner and had a truly satisfying meal. The female manager was incredibly friendly and welcoming, and even offered menu recommendations. I ordered beef tenderloin and sea bass, and they were delicious, especially the sea bass, which was one of the best I've ever had. The eggplant Parmesan appetizer was also delicious. Highly recommended.

We had dinner at Ristorante Darsena and were seated on the spectacular lakeside balcony. The service was polite and happy to offer recommendations when asked. The food was delicious, and we enjoyed one of the best wines on Lake Como. The pasta is homemade and a truly unique experience. In the summer months, reservations are highly recommended to enjoy the beautiful lake view and the setting sun.

Great view and fantastic food. The boat is handled and secured for you without any problems or damage. Highly recommended.

On the side of the busy, dangerous highway. The rooms with lake views are great. Those facing the highway are incredibly noisy.

This was our eighth year at this romantic and well-maintained restaurant overlooking Lake Como. The owners take great care to welcome guests and make them feel pampered. The staff is truly wonderful. The lady who served our table was extremely attentive, explaining every single dish to us and always ready to accommodate our every need. You won't find such a waitstaff... The location is fantastic; you can enjoy the view in total relaxation and tranquility, as well as having the privacy for a romantic evening. We chose the Darsena menu for €70 per person, absolutely well spent! Everything was excellent! High-quality ingredients and exquisite presentation. Highly recommended! We loved our stay at La Darsena! The hotel has a charming, homey vibe—being family-owned really adds a special touch. The restaurant is fantastic (don’t miss dinner there!), and their breakfast buffet was a daily highlight. The location is super convenient—right near the ferry stop and bus stop, which made exploring Lake Como so easy. We highly recommend taking a day trip by ferry to Varenna and then Bellagio—it was one of our favorite experiences. Thank you to the team at La Darsena for such a memorable stay!

Beautiful, charming little hotel. We were delighted with our stay at this small hotel directly overlooking the lake, if you book a lake-view room. A very quiet, small hotel with about ten simple but very clean and well-equipped rooms, a superbly decorated restaurant, and terraces "over the water," including one with a lawn. The restaurant has a good menu, prices a little higher than average, but reflect the location, the attention to detail, and the quality of the dishes. Right next to the ferry dock connecting Bellagio, Varenna, Mennagio, Como, etc. It's a plus, being able to walk there and to Villa Carlota. Very romantic. If we return to Tremezzo, we will book here again.

A three-star hotel that deserves five stars. The breakfast on the terrace above the lake, with sparkling wine, salmon, fruit salad, fresh egg dishes, and more, alone elevates the hotel well above average. You can park at the hotel for €5 per day, assuming you can find a spot. Additional parking spaces are available at the next intersection toward the church. We didn't miss the lack of sunbathing area in the garden, but walked the few steps to the Parco Comunale in our swimwear. There's perfect access to the water, with shady spots, a restroom, and a bar. The fumes from the boat fueling station right next to the hotel were sometimes disturbing on the large balcony. Quiet nights. The air conditioning could be a bit quieter, but you get used to it. Good bathroom with a large shower.

Tuvimos una cena encantadora, bien preparada en una ubicación espectacular en la cubierta exterior sobre el lago de Como. Experimentamos un excelente servicio y muy buena comida un viernes por la noche en mayo.
