La Darsena In Tremezzo

Very kind welcome, clean and comfortable room, superb view of the lake which we particularly enjoy at breakfast. The quality-price ratio is really there.

Panoramico, ben organizzato e arredato con gusto. Qualità alta, prezzo elevato ma adeguato al livello dell'offerta e alla location. Una piacevolissima occasione per pranzare in un ambiente curato e attento. Servizio completo, con qualche piccola sbavatura.

I stayed at this Hotel for two nights last weekend, and it was very nice. The room was comfortable, the food was very good, and the location on Lake Como is spectacular. However, that is not why I am writing this review. At the Milan airport on the way home, I realized that I had left behind a silver necklace of personal significance in my room at La Darsena, a hotel in Lake Como, Italy. I called the hotel that evening after arriving back in London, and after a short search, they returned my call to say that they had found the necklace. Less than 12 hours later, my lost necklace was back on my neck. The service and support from the staff at La Darsena was exceptional, and I was able to retrieve an object of significant personal value. Thank you very much to all the staff at Hotel La Darsena!

Beautiful view of the lake from the balcony. The main courses were delicious. However, the waiter started clearing the plates while I was still eating. Overall, there was a condescending attitude. The "Pannacotta" was just a scoop of strawberry ice cream covered in cream.

Beautiful location and excellent service. Felt more like a 4 start hotel rather than a 3 star. We stayed in the attic room which was clean and simple. My husband did hit his head once or twice on the slanted ceilings but he adjusted. Breakfast was a very nice arrangement with a beautiful view. One of the front staff, Nicola was especially great. If we come back to Como we will most definitely stay again.
