One of the best dining experiences of my life! First of all, the courtesy of the staff needs to be specified, both in the way they behave and in making us feel "at home". The food EXQUISITE!!! Starting from the appetizer, grandma's fabulous meatballs... moving on to the first courses with a sauce that tasted like "grandma from the South" and the BREAD!!! An artisanal bread that allows you to make a slipper that leaves your plate clean!!!!
So much so that we don't have photos of any dishes because of how good they were.
If we ever return to the area, we will definitely return!!!!

Il Punto Cardinale è una chicca, ambiente dall'arredo ricercato, rilassante, i piatti sono gustosi, i servizi igienici sono intonsi. È uno di quei posti da frequentare quando non si ha fretta, il numero dei tavoli è limitato, le pietanze vengono preparate al momento, come richiede l'accademia della buona cucina. Il rapporto qualità /prezzo è molto buono.
Il gradimento ottenuto dal locale è tale che abbiamo dovuto attendere 3 giorni per ottenere un tavolo da due persone!

This place is a MUST. Food, atmosphere and service were possibly the best we had in almost 15 days in Italy. Don’t think twice and give it a try, just make a reservation first because otherwise you might have a hard time getting a table

Easily the best, most authentic food you’ll find in monopoli. The octopus and Pasta e fagioli were particular stand out dishes as well as the pannacotta.
It’s worth noting that they do a single service a night and bookings are essential. We were turned away twice (when the restaurant was seemingly empty) and secured a booking for a few nights later.
Worth the wait as the food and entire place was outstanding, rest assured you will not be disappointed.

Trevlig ägarinna, god mat. Åt fikon/mozarella/skinka som var kanon. Maten var 4/5 och bemötandet 5/5. Gott grillat kött.
