The Hostaria Uva Rara in Franciacorta is a magical place, which fully deserves its mention in the Michelin Guide. The refined and refined atmosphere is accompanied by top-level cuisine and impeccable service: the waiter who looked after us was prepared, competent and never intrusive, making the experience even more pleasant.
We tasted extraordinary dishes such as the “Carciofo al Carciofo”, an artichoke filled with artichoke cream with Grana Padano fondue, crunchy leek nest and mint oil, and the “Estate Iberica”, a Galician octopus roasted on potato and pimento cream with yellow pepper sauce. Both refined and delicious.
The risottos, Vialone Nano with Franciacorta and black truffle, were impeccable, perfectly creamed and aromatic.
A memorable culinary experience, which I highly recommend to those who want to discover the best of Franciacorta!

A positive experience, with impeccable service and interesting dishes, even if not all succeeded at the same level
We went to this restaurant which is not located in the historic center nor in a transit area, so you have to travel a bit to get there. However, it was worth it.
The restaurant is made up of several rooms, but that day, perhaps because it was lunch and there were only 5-6 occupied tables, only one room remained open. The one where we were welcomed was not the most characteristic, but still well-kept and quiet.
The service was truly impeccable. The staff is made up of young people, very polite, professional and attentive to detail. A concrete example: at the end of the meal, without me saying anything, one of the waiters brought me a new napkin, simply because he had noticed that mine had fallen. A gesture that demonstrates attention and care towards the customer.
Moving on to the food, the experience was overall positive, even if some dishes convinced us more than others:
• The octopus: well executed, tender and tasty.
• The egg cooked at low temperature (60°): we were less convinced, the flavor was rather flat.
• The risotto: very good, balanced and well creamed.
• The ravioli: compared to the other dishes, they were less interesting, less refined in flavours.
As for the desserts, we tasted three different ones and we liked them all very much: well presented, balanced, pleasant to share.
In summary: a restaurant with great attention to service and with dishes that, in most cases, stand out for their quality and taste. A few less successful dishes didn't ruin the experience, and we would certainly return to try something else.
Really good food and attention to detail. We chose the lake menu, which I highly recommend: balanced dishes, well presented and rich in flavour. A special mention goes to the waiter who looked after us, a young boy, extremely kind and knowledgeable. He was able to explain each course with clarity and passion, immediately putting us at ease with a smile and a few jokes, always with grace. A pleasant experience in every respect, definitely to be repeated!

Per il nostro (ennesimo) week end in franciacorta abbiamo deciso di provare Uva Rara in versione “business lunch”.
Qualità ottima, piatti curati, locale molto bello. Rapporto qualità prezzo ottimo!
siamo passati di venerdì e alcune scelte erano finite (ma sostituite bene). Ottima scelta di vini con attenzione alle cantine locali.
Dolci buoni anche se non all’altezza dei piatti principali.
Da tornare.
Punto forte: la location veramente bella
Da migliorare: servizio non impeccabile per un Michelin (es. formaggio lasciato sul tavolo, vino non versato…) ma posso capire che al pomeriggio magari non sia al 100%

We are 3 couples of friends, and after a 3 hour drive we arrive on site. Parking very close, beautifully renovated building. Friendly service, well-prepared food and interesting wine list. Excellent desserts, price within the range for the type of place.

Veramente pregevole.
Una antica cascina, ristrutturata alla perfezione.
Si pranza in un dehor nella corte, con alberi e fiori ed anche musica dal vivo con un interprete folk anni ’60.
Cucina di livello.
I prezzi un po’ altini ma meritati, anche perché d’obbligo accompagnare con un buon Franciacorta.
