Lovely service, great food that hit the spot - highly recommend!
We ordered two hazelnut latte macchiatos, one cappuccino, one avocado toast, one avo toast with smoked salmon and one sweet pancakes (strawberry and maple syrup). Everything was delicious! 5/5!
Positives:
- waiters were very kind and receptive to our indoor/outdoors seating requests
- coffees were perfect - not too strong or too weak
- avo toasts were both the perfect sizes
- really good grainy bread
Minor negative points:
- seated us in a busy area so there were waiters and people walking around and table was a bit small
- sweet pancakes would be better with some cream/creme fraiche

the sweet pancakes are very good, I was disappointed by one of the more expensive savory dishes which, in my opinion, offered nothing of note (the
Dish is California toast, but had cold, stale bread, uninteresting sauce, etc.). Even the lemonade was not a good choice! The quality-price aspect is a point to consider, there is a clear cost for the quality offered. I confess that I was expecting something out of the ordinary. It's not bad, but for the prices charged I expected more... just like the budget required.

It's a good place to have brunch or drinks with friends.
On weekends it is very chaotic, but even though they are full they manage to maintain a good service.
The food is a bit of a flaw. It's good, but over the years it has declined quite a bit: the side dishes are small and (in my case I took the potatoes with bacon) practically without bacon.
Aesthetically they are wonderful dishes and in my opinion they focused a bit on that aspect.
Overall it's a nice place, but I would prefer a dish that was a little uglier, but tasted better.

The fact that it's packed on a Tuesday says it all about how good it can be!!
We waited outside for less than 10 minutes to be seated inside.
The options on the menu are varied and colorful (the dishes are also beautiful).
As a juicer I tried apple, cucumber and celery. VERY GOOD!! I didn't even have time to photograph it 😍😍😍😍

Visited Elk on a Monday for breakfast, it was busy but much quieter than the weekend and we were seated straight away. The food is excellent, not too expensive compared to UK prices but a bit on the pricey side for Verona. I had the Eggs California which was delicious and a generous size. Service was a little slow but it was busy. I'd definitely return.
