Banco 32 In Bologna

A very unusual and noisy atmosphere, located inside the fish market. Very limited space due to tiny tables and uncomfortable metal chairs. Fast and efficient service. Good wine list; we ordered excellent Prosecco. The fish was excellent, very fresh; the sardine cutlets, prawns, and mixed fried fish were delicious. I couldn't bring myself to eat the peppered mussels because the mussels, while very tender, were dry and lacking in sauce. Very fair price.

Top food as well as service, atmosphere and welcome

I've been a customer for years and I gave it a 5....the food is still very much appreciated, but I have to complain about the treatment I received yesterday. I had spaghetti with clams for lunch. When asked how it went, I reported that I had found 10 closed clams, almost half of those on my plate. The waitress said she'd report it to the kitchen, and in any case, it was obvious because I'd left them on my plate, separating them from the shells of the consumed ones. I expected a word or an apology, but no one showed up. It was toward the end of the lunch hour, so it can't be said they were overwhelmed with service, given the few tables already occupied. I was very disappointed. I didn't expect this from a place I love and have been frequenting regularly for years.

Excellent food. Excellent vine & Excellent service

We'd been to Banco 32 before, and today we found the same pleasant atmosphere. The appetizers—a variety of raw fish, tagliolini with clams, and paccheri with swordfish—were all very delicious, paired with a glass of Ribolla Gialla and a glass of Vermentino di Sardegna, with a very extensive wine list. The young woman who served us was excellent, bright, and very kind, and she quickly and graciously resolved a small misunderstanding I had while ordering, while maintaining a very professional atmosphere.

Informal atmosphere, good service, excellent food, medium portions, reasonable and clear bill. Recommended.
