Al Quadrivio In Sulmona

The Angello was excellent and the antipasto was good but the vegetables were a little over cooked but delicious. I was the only customer at 19:45. Because it was so quiet, I could hear the music playing in kitchen... an Irish concert. Great singing. They let me sit there drinking water to listen to the music..my wife, who died 2 years ago, loved her Irish music.

Beautiful place in the center of Sulmona furnished in medieval style. Very good typical Abruzzo cuisine. Everything perfect. Highly recommended

We took 2 polenta with wild boar ragù, 1 chicken breast, water, 1/2 liter of house wine and 2 coffees: €55. Excessive. Unfortunately, the ragù tasted more like tomatoes than wild boar and the chicken was rather tough. I don't recommend it

Business lunch consumed in a more than pleasant location in the historic center of the city of Peligna. It is a place that must be visited in any case, if only for the particularity of the furnishings, very in line with the tradition of the Giostra Cavalleresca of Sulmona. Consumption limited to an appetizer and a second course, plus dessert and coffee; good service. Basically it gives the idea that there is still room for improvement, despite the already good level. I will return to try more typical dishes (I'm intrigued by the wild boar in wine and, among the appetizers, the wild boar ham) compared to the crostini with anchovies (really tasty) and the Argentine entrecote of the last visit. The cassata and confetti are also good for sweets lovers.

My family and I visited Sulmona a few days ago and found ourselves by chance in this place at lunch time. the restaurant is very nice inside, with typically medieval furnishings, and welcoming. there was a bit of a wait, but given the amount of people who were there for lunch it was more than fair... and it was worth it! the first courses are exceptional, especially the fettuccine with mushrooms (homemade among other things!). the ravioli with radicchio and walnuts are also exceptional. a highlight, the cheesecake, homemade too... exceptional taste, I regret not having taken the photo. I hope to see you again soon.

Beautiful inn in the center of Sulmona. As the name says, everything inside is medieval. Super friendly and prepared staff. Food is something unsurpassed. The best wild boar I've ever eaten.🔝 Super recommended.
