Excellent food and a central location in the heart of Sulmona. Four of us dined here in mid-August, and even without a reservation, we found a table right away. The interior is worth a visit, as the ambiance evokes the medieval atmosphere that inspired the restaurant. The staff were helpful and friendly: recommended!

A nice, well-maintained tourist spot; I appreciated that it wasn't noisy. Fast service and friendly staff. We ate various types of meat; it was good, but we weren't thrilled. The baked potatoes, unfortunately, were raw inside (this can happen). I would strongly recommend, however, that when it comes to wine by the glass, at least open a bottle and serve it at the table in a wine glass; offering only low-quality, unfilled bottles in juice glasses ruins what can be ruined.

Good food, but the portions are really small. The lamb was 100g, 4 small pieces, for €20. We're not in St. Mark's Square. Definitely overkill. The spinach was completely unseasoned. A glass of wine: its provenance is highly questionable.

22/11/2025: Excellent restaurant, quick and friendly service. Excellent first and second courses with meat. The braised meat is exceptional for desserts, and the strudel is unbeatable.
11/11/2025: It's a very welcoming place with delicious food. Despite being on the side of the road, they close late and are always happy to see us as customers.

03/11/2025: We loved the service and the food. What was supposed to be a lucky dinner (because it was November 1st and we couldn't find anything open except this restaurant) turned out to be a wonderful experience. The owner, a very nice gentleman, added the icing on the cake to this evening :) We recommend the tonnarelli with broad beans, pecorino cheese, and guanciale!
26/10/2025: It's located just off the highway toll booth. The restaurant is spacious with plenty of tables, and the ambiance is a bit dated, but everything is well-kept. The owner is very kind and friendly, and the menu is listed verbally, with a word to each table. The service and food are quick. We ordered: orecchiette, broccoli, and pancetta, which were delicious and plentiful, the house red wine was good, and finally, good value for money.
