We had dinner at Locanda Medievale and were truly thrilled with the experience. We ordered a sliced ​​beef with Colonnata lard, simply delicious; tagliatelle with wild boar cooked in wine, rich in flavor and perfectly prepared; and the famous arrosticini, truly exceptional. Everything was excellent, and the quality/price ratio was surprisingly good. Special thanks to Alessia, extremely kind and professional, who served us with great courtesy, also explaining local customs and traditions, making the evening even more enjoyable. The location perfectly reflects its name: an evocative atmosphere with attention to detail that evokes medieval charm. We will definitely be back! Highly recommended.

A refined and constantly evolving wine list. Impeccable hospitality in the dining room, an enchanting setting, both in the garden and inside, especially next to the wonderful fireplace.

Ristorante La Foce

19/10/2025: Small, family-run restaurant. A few dishes, but very good. Prices are slightly high but acceptable. They might be a bit of a problem if you have a dog and it's not very quiet.
19/10/2025: We discovered La Foce during a stroll through the heart of Scanno, and immediately felt at home. We tried the cazzellitti con le fuoja (a type of pasta) and the sagnette con i fagioli (a type of pasta with beans): extraordinary dishes, prepared with such care and love that you can taste in every bite. Everything is homemade and cooked to order, a true culinary experience! The atmosphere is warm and familiar, the owners were extremely kind and welcomed us with great warmth. It's clear that a tradition is being carried on here with passion and dedication. We were delighted and can't wait to return. A must-see for anyone visiting Scanno who wants to enjoy authentic local cuisine.
