21/02/2026: If you're looking for a real pizzeria, one that's part of the village and not just a "fake," Pizzeria Dunvegan in Chiesa in Valmalenco is definitely worth a visit. The pizzas are excellent: always well-cooked, with a light dough and quality ingredients that you can taste from the first bite. Even those who are a bit fussy about cooking will be sure to enjoy them here. The atmosphere is one of its strong points: it's an authentic village pizzeria, where at the next table you'll find foreign tourists and locals greeting each other, chatting, and interacting. The result is a genuine, lively atmosphere, very "Valmalenco," in the best sense of the word. The service deserves a huge shout-out: the owner and the young man who takes your orders are truly courteous, attentive, and welcoming. And here's the episode that really struck us: we happened upon a night when a group of children and parents were making a really loud noise, so much so that they disturbed the other customers. The owner was extremely kind, tactfully trying to calm them down and repeatedly apologizing to everyone. Polite and responsible management, the likes of which are rarely seen. This makes it even more disappointing to discover that that very rowdy group had the courage to leave a negative review: it makes you think that, if customers could also "review" the behavior of other customers, sometimes they would get a more balanced picture. We, however, have no doubts: we will definitely be back. Truly affordable prices, high quality, sincere welcome. And one last tip: try the herbal bitters—the perfect finish.
