Casa Perbellini

13/06/2025: My wife and I had a wonderful experience here and I’m very glad we decided to splurge on our trip to Verona. The staff was attentive and cordial. Each course was a choreographed presentation and each piece was explained to us in English, which was much appreciated. We aren’t used to lengthy meals where we are from so a three hour dinner was new to us, but the pace was nice and allowed time to savor each bite. I didn’t count how courses there were but it was a lot, in a good way. Go easy on the bread, (not the focaccia, eat all of that!) if you are concerned about making it to the end. After dessert the chef came out to greet each table personally. We didn’t plan this ahead of time and I was amazed we were able to get a reservation at a 3 Star Michelin restaurant the day before, but I’m very glad we went for it. By far, this was the best meal we’ve ever had.
24/05/2025: The modest entrance on the narrow Via Antonio Tirabosco doesn't give us a clear idea of where we're about to dine. In this case, to celebrate the gastronomic and oenological joy of an unforgettable meal. Nor does it give us any idea of what history has seen fit to preserve beneath what is now the space that houses Gian Carlo Perebellini's restaurant. A chef who joined this establishment at the age of 18 and remained in charge of the restaurant.
A tour of the facilities allows us to admire the collections of pens from illustrious guests, which have earned the Mondadori Award, or the Roman ruins that speak of the centuries of history that gave rise to the space that today houses a delicious space that demonstrates how a pastry chef has paved the way to become one of the greatest exponents of 21st-century Italian cuisine. The experience of the Chef's table, a delightful space that allows you to contemplate the long menu as you eat, the silent work of a well-coordinated team of 12 cooks, plus the Chef, who passes notes and constantly approaches the table to check that everything is running smoothly.
The room has class and youth. The sommelier knows the risk of having to incorporate new pairings every day for a menu that constantly transforms, where flours, cheeses, and vegetables mark the backbone.
Freshly baked breads, crispy edible crusts. We can't deny that the pastry chef rises in the kitchen to offer bites where textures define tiny, sequential universes.
Gifts like caviar with a mini passion fruit sorbet (zabaglione & caviale affumicato). Or the delicious grissinis with slightly smoky notes. They return, time and again, to be refilled when you barely have a couple left. If the wide assortment of mini bites that open the menu isn't a sampler of what we can enjoy, the second offering after caviar comes with a crispy bouquet of green asparagus and crayfish.
Flavor, textures, freshness on the palate. They go even further with the tomato, celery vinegar gel, and a lovely béarnaise foam. Simple and effective. A gift for this first part of the menu, where the sea bass is somewhat lost in a tartar with goat cheese and licorice extract. Perhaps the lightest of the dishes, but one that captivates with the crunch that serves as a millefeuille.
The dentex is impeccable, also with a good combination of mascarpone and Cantabrian anchovies, which are very popular among the greats of transalpine cuisine.
The combination of the goat's milk ravioli with pea water and red shrimp is delicious. Although I admit that domestic peas are sweeter and have more flavor. I smile. The pasta, fusili with clams, is accompanied by a creamy anduja, a sobrassada from southern Italy, accompanied by a shellfish bisque. An outstanding dish, as everything else we tried has been.
Two meats round out the menu: lamb and veal with pigeon breast.
Desserts are extensive in the first bites: a chocolate sugar, and more sweet treats.
It wouldn't be a bad idea to follow the world route of all three-star restaurants that offer so much happiness at such a reasonable price. About €350.
Coffee, grappa, laughter, and conversation are reserved for private dining.

Antica Moka

17/06/2025: We left this place far richer than when we arrived. The food was good (best Modenese food of the trip), but I'll remember the kindness of the chef and staff for far longer than the taste of the food. If you want to make a lasting memory in Modena, this place would be my recommendation.
(We chose the traditional tasting menu, which was incredibly filling. Declining the extra bread with olive oil might be a wise choice.)

11/06/2025: It was my husband's birthday gift to me, I had been wanting to go there for a long time and finally I was able to enjoy the starred dishes of the restaurant...
A very beautiful place, minimal as I like it, with soft lighting and large tables...
But let's talk about the cuisine, we chose the "season" tasting menu with wine pairing, but you can choose between two others...
Beautiful and delicious dishes expertly explained at the table by impeccable service, particular flavors that caress the palate and excellent wines to match.
After lunch we were able to visit the beautiful cellar of the restaurant, with many prestigious labels.
Restaurant recently awarded a Michelin star, I must say very well deserved...

Exceptional wine tasting, with the possibility of pairing each course with half glasses. Compliments to the sommelier who knew how to entertain us.
Top quality food.
Impeccable service.
Careful and very romantic location.

01/07/2025: Il viaggio vale la pena. Ma il bagno sicuramente da rivedere e non all'altezza del locale. Amatriciana rivisitata male male. Apprezzabile che lo chef esca per salutare. Il cameriere non ticorda che tipo di acqua ho scelto e poi porta il dolce della casa, spettacolare, peccato che noi eravamo in due e la porzione era x tre e scuaandosi la riporta indietro. La mia sedia era rotta. Occorre lavorare abbastanza

22/05/2025: Our dinner at Il Luogo di Aimo e Nadia was truly one of the highlights of our trip. The service was warm and attentive from the moment we arrived, and the atmosphere was elegant without feeling overly formal.
Each dish was beautifully presented and full of flavor—creative yet still rooted in Italian tradition. The tasting menu was well-paced and thoughtfully curated, and the wine pairings elevated the whole experience.
It’s clear this is a place run with passion and precision. A must-visit for anyone who appreciates fine dining in Milan. We’ll definitely be back.

20/06/2025: Great experience! We took the tasting menu, to discover the Chef's cuisine, everything really interesting, you immediately notice the experimentation and refinement. Very intimate atmosphere. The 10-star staff, super professional, kind and super helpful. Due to a technical problem with the banking circuit we had a hitch with the payment but they never made us feel uncomfortable, coming to meet us with immense kindness and helping us to resolve everything. Highly recommended! Atmosphere, excellent food, professionalism and kindness!

30/06/2025: The place to visit, to get the memorable Tagliatelle Ragu, of Bologna.
Atmosphere and the people of the place are remarkable and it feels as if you were invited home to them. With the owners still very much involved, with one in the kitchen and the other one running the serving area looking after everyone.

28/05/2025: I had the pleasure of having dinner for my birthday at I Pupi, well what can I say? Excellent culinary experience, impeccable service, never intrusive, pleasant atmosphere.
When I go to starred restaurants I always try the 10 courses as the first time and I must say that this was the only time I was satisfied with all 10 dishes, beyond my expectations, the love and passion that the chef has in cooking every single dish and making it unique comes straight to the palate.. congratulations and we will return to taste other "works of art" because that's what they are unfortunately I didn't take photos of all the dishes but I'll share some ....
10/05/2025: Excellent from every point of view. And every time there are delicious new things on the menu. The best place to eat in the province of Palermo. Try it to believe it!

11/05/2025: The restaurant, located in Cinisi, in a magical location, where you can admire a wonderful sunset, enjoying a dinner, immersed in total green relaxation.
Essential menu, with gourmet dishes, elaborated, cared for and presented in an impeccable mise en place, by the hands of a young chef, Salvo Amato, prepared with a solid and prestigious beck ground.
Traditional local dishes, with seasonal and fresh raw materials, ensure a taste journey that borders on perfection.
Exhaustive wine list, with bottles from excellent wineries, particularly for the section dedicated to DOC bubbles.
Impeccable presence of a very good owner, who with empathy and kindness, ensures extreme comfort to the customer.
Service and staff present and available.
Good value for money, obviously in line with the range of restaurants of the same lineage

Ristorante La Cantina

02/07/2025: A very nice restaurant with equally nice waiters! Neatly dressed in black and white which gives something extra for me! My advice is to sit in the atmospheric garden/terrace, you look out over Lago Trasimeno and the terrace is very nicely laid out and the plants really complete it.
The food tastes great and the waiters are real Italians, neat, polite and speak good English.
The restaurant is located in the center and is not accessible by car. You park it at the edge of the city walls a nice walk through this small town is worth it! There is a lot of variety and something for everyone. There are a number of very nice restaurants to visit. A short walk there will make you hungry.

27/06/2025: We love good food and have an 8-month-old child. Therefore, we visited the day before to reserve a table and ask if it was okay to come with a baby. We received a very warm welcome, even with our baby. You can't imagine how happy we were, as it was our first Michelin-starred restaurant since the birth of our daughter 😊 Everyone was so kind to us and our child! We felt very comfortable and welcome. The food and wine were also excellent!!!
