26/02/2026: We were there on Saturday, February 14th. I had made the wrong reservation, and there were only nine of us. They went out of their way to get us a table, served us, and pampered us. They were fantastic! Thanks guys, my compliments!

07/03/2026: We've been frequenting this restaurant for years, but today at lunch we were truly disappointed.
With the kitchen open to the public, we saw a staff member, wearing shorts and a band-aid on his leg, mopping the floor with a rag using his shoes. He then picked up that same rag, wiped his hands, and then began preparing the dishes (polenta and meat), touching the food with his hands.
It was a scene that left us speechless and didn't seem at all hygienic. It's a shame, but after what we saw, we won't be returning.
07/03/2026: The quality of the meat today was particularly good. Always a guarantee.

18/01/2026: Top, top, top, I recommend it. A charming place and incredibly friendly staff! We immediately felt at home. The location is wonderful, perfect for relaxing surrounded by the greenery of Cesuna. Excellent value for money. A well-deserved five stars.

01/03/2026: Simple and homely trattoria with a traditional menu. Mountain atmosphere. Highly recommended for lunch or dinner with friends.
05/01/2026: We stopped after a hike in the mountains. We had two hot chocolates with cream (plenty) and a delicious toasted sandwich at a very reasonable price.
It was a pleasant surprise. If we have the chance, we'll be back for lunch.

01/01/2026: Had dinner on New Year's Eve, it seemed like a normal evening, not a New Year's Eve party, the wait for midnight was monotonous, and the risotto with leftover cooking and raw ravioli neither the dinner nor the monotony of the wait were worth the price paid, excellent, very kind staff

15/01/2026: We came here by chance; our car had broken down on the way there and we were waiting for help. Even though they were closed, they kindly let us in. The staff was always very friendly.
We stopped for lunch and ate traditional dishes, simple but tasty. Fair prices.
Highly recommended.

08/12/2025: An unexpected surprise! We stumbled upon it by chance, late at lunchtime. The dishes were exquisite, from appetizers to dessert, and there was something for everyone. The welcome was simple and, to say the least, rare. Prices were more than reasonable.
31/08/2025: A delicious lunch featuring local cuisine. Try the pasticcio (a lasagna with mushrooms and Asiago cheese) and the goulash with polenta, both truly excellent, as was the chicken cutlet with fries. The menu is limited but includes the essentials. The service is good but could be improved; the waitress wasn't very knowledgeable about certain dishes. The price is average.

20/01/2026: A charming location with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, where the staff is always ready to make guests feel at home. The cuisine is traditional with a touch of innovation, and every detail is cared for with love and dedication.
I particularly appreciated the option of eating vegan with complete peace of mind.
And the bread? Simply delicious, made with care and passion right on site.
The only downside for us was the no-dog policy, which will put us off a second visit, since they usually stay with us. But we understand the restaurant's needs, and we hope they'll find a solution to welcome our four-legged friends in the future.
Overall, a place we highly recommend for its atmosphere, cuisine, and kind staff. ♥️
26/12/2025: Three hot chocolates with cream for €18 and a small sandwich for €10 seems like a steal to me! I absolutely must not return! Not even in Piazza San Marco, they're this expensive!! The service was also POOR, without even a napkin. Our table was dirty, and I kindly asked them to clean it, but unfortunately, they used a rag that was dirtier and smellier than the table!
