23/05/2026: We'd ordered takeout before, and out of curiosity, we went to check it out and booked a table for two.
Upon arrival, the place was very welcoming, with a small entrance and a corridor leading to the bar area on one side and the dining room on the other. The dining room was large, with plenty of seating and even a small outdoor area. The young, professional staff quickly assigned you a table and handed you the menus. The menu offered a few meat or fish first courses and a few meat or fish second courses, but in my opinion, just the right amount for a simple, quality menu. They also had a huge selection of pizzas, which are practically the place's specialty. The first courses arrived: bigoli with duck. Unfortunately, the pasta wasn't cooked properly; it was definitely overcooked, and the ragù tasted a bit bland. Maccheroncini with wild boar ragù were good, even though they weren't exactly macaroni. The ragù was a bit dry, but no big deal, and we enjoyed them. The steaks, on the other hand, were tender and perfectly cooked, the one with rosemary, while the other was rare and tough, with a balsamic vinegar sauce that was a mix of mayonnaise and balsamic vinegar glaze, which we didn't quite understand. Since I didn't spend a lot of money, I can't say I had a bad meal; a little more attention to cooking would certainly be enough, and the quality, already present, would certainly reach perfection.

10/05/2026: Unfortunately, when we visited, there were a couple of events, so the castle wasn't open to visitors at all (it wasn't even possible to use the restaurant or bar for an aperitif). What a shame!

01/06/2026: A hilltop brewery with a rather dated entrance, which may seem a bit confusing when you see the old sign. Upon entering, however, you'll notice a rustic, well-kept, and above all, welcoming atmosphere. A true brewery, complete with a large terrace where you can enjoy drinks and meals outside on warmer days. The staff is friendly and, despite their young age, knows their job well. There's a good selection of beers, both on tap and in bottles, with slightly above-average prices. The menus are fairly simple, featuring typical brewery dishes like burgers, bruschetta, piadinas, fried foods, and so on. We ordered a bruschetta and a burger. The bruschetta, served on rustic bread, cooked just right, has the perfect balance between savory and crunchy, but if you order garlic, which I like, beware of the chef's heavy hand. As for the burger, it's a nice, generous sandwich. It's a shame the menu doesn't mention that the vegetables are added at the end of cooking, providing a contrast that isn't always appreciated. Regardless, it's still a great place for a simple beer or a bite to eat surrounded by the tranquility of the hills.

02/02/2026: We found it by chance for lunch and were pleasantly surprised by the kindness of the wait staff and the amazing taste of the bigoli with duck ragù.
26/01/2026: A classic, old-fashioned trattoria serving hearty, traditional dishes. Excellent value for money. Good, fairly quick service with friendly, helpful staff. Parking isn't easy to find.

08/06/2026: The room had 1970s furniture, but it was still clean and comfortable. The only downside was the bathroom and shower, which were too small, especially sitting on the toilet (it was a pain to sit on, being pressed against the wall). Excellent breakfast and very friendly staff.

- Appetizers of cured meats and giardiniera. Good, but not overdone.
- Asparagus risotto...not exactly perfect.
- Grilled meat: more than good, shame I had the risotto first...
- Desserts (tiramisu): bad.

14/02/2026: Terrible! I parked with the intention of having a drink and then going to the hair salon next door, and I was verbally assaulted as soon as I got out of the car! The lady immediately asked me to move because the parking was reserved for them, without even asking me anything.
Now I understand why it's always empty... if that's what hospitality is like.

The ultra-thin pizza is a hallmark that has endured over time. Always good.
The desserts are also excellent, I must say.
The atmosphere is pleasant for an easy, informal dinner.
11/12/2025: It's not a pizza but carasau bread with basically a spoonful of sauce! We had to eat pasta when we got home because we were hungry!

20/05/2026: McDonald's is just like all the others, the only downside is the location, unfortunately! Oh, they should teach the waiters how to clean, because instead of putting detergent in the sponge, they spray it in the air while people are eating, and that's not good at all! As for the rest, you know what you're eating.
