07/04/2026: I had the pleasure of celebrating Easter lunch with my family at this wonderful place, and I must say I found everything wonderful. Starting with the staff, the very kind, smiling, and attentive staff. I found them to be truly professional and knowledgeable, which is not a given and something I always appreciate when dining out. The setting is delightful, the size appropriate and unobtrusive, perfect for accommodating a sufficient number of people without having to spend time in the middle of the crowd. Despite the restaurant being fully booked, it was truly pleasant and relaxing. The dishes on the menu were exceptional, with fresh, well-prepared ingredients, perfect portions, and authentic flavors. The area around the mountain hut is beautiful for a relaxing stroll and can only complete a wonderful time spent with loved ones. My heartfelt congratulations to everyone for the wonderful experience; I will definitely be back and recommend it. Thank you.

05/01/2026: What can I say: Pizzeria King Kong is a historic place. I've been going there for years. The atmosphere is clean and tidy, the waitresses are friendly and fast, and the pizzas are good. My compliments to the pizza chef. The only downside is that the place is a bit noisy.

07/04/2026: Excellent experience, following a lovely hike to Cima Cengio (easy and worth it). The chef and owner (I presume) were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable. Delicious food, stunning views, and perfect weather. We'll definitely be back!

08/01/2026: At the end of the hike on Monte Cengio, I stopped for a quick appetizer before heading back to the plateau. The waiter and owner were very kind, and the dish was tasty and plentiful: polenta, mushrooms, and cheese. Highly recommended.

Really. 😔 *Important update: Despite all the positive comments above, unfortunately, starting August 4th, due to staff shortages, the restaurant will no longer be open in the morning and lunchtime, but only in the afternoon and evening, with various events, aperitifs, and cuisine in the early, evening, and late evening hours. *The seasonal summer and winter bruschetta are excellent. ‐-‐------------------------------------------------‐-‐----------- Sent ahead by colleagues to evaluate it for a lunch break, I must say the experience was more than positive. Convenient parking and a welcoming interior, with plenty of space for outdoor dining in the summer. I first had a nice, generous, smooth Spritz, followed by the Bastarda bruschetta (really good and large), with a half-liter of water and coffee to finish. While I was waiting, I saw they also do fried foods, gourmet Apulian sandwiches, and a set lunch menu. The bill was very reasonable: less than 15 euros. I'd like to highlight the friendliness and kindness of Erika, the lady at the counter... presumably the owner: truly a perfect match, assisted by her sister in the morning. So it's an excellent option both for a lunch break (and I've already told my colleagues) and for occasional drop-ins. I don't usually give 5 stars on first visits, but this time I really can't help but. See you soon. 🙂 *Update. I tried the Peppa Pig sandwich: simple but good, and the Apulian octopus one: out of this world. They also frequently host themed nights (such as Giro-Gnocchi) and karaoke on Friday nights. Uninterrupted, top-notch service from 5:00 a.m. for breakfast until late at night, and also available for business dinners. What's not to love? 🙂
