02/08/2025: Incredibly disappointing, rude staff, and the audacity is beyond compare. We are/were hotel guests and, based on the exterior, thought we'd try the restaurant in the evening rather than just for breakfast. The restaurant does have a nice visual location, but that was about it. We ordered a hamburger, sea bass, and schnitzel. The "hamburger" was simply a patty with sauce, even though the menu clearly stated "hamburger." When we complained, they rather rudely said that was common practice in Italy. Not true, as we've had regular burgers in various, even better, restaurants, and even then, a note on the menu stating that it was just a patty is to be expected. The fish was very dry and poorly presented. Very disappointing how they treat their guests. Absolutely not recommended.

I ate a burger next door at the beach bar – with a bun, and I ate a burger in Peschiera – with a bun. To be absolutely sure, I googled it and consulted ChatGPT, and nothing confirmed the waiter's wild theory that burgers in Italy are served without a bun. Even after complaining, the waiter was opinionated and offered no consideration. He simply told me that, as a stupid tourist, I wouldn't know how to eat a hamburger in Italy. Well-intentioned advice: choose nearby restaurants that aren't attached to a hotel, and you won't go far wrong, but you won't be happy here. For the record: we ordered a so-called "hamburger" with fries, schnitzel with fries, sea bass with fried potatoes, a Coke, an iced tea, and a beer. The bill: €81.50 - 10% because we were hotel guests, rounded down to €70 because I complained about my meal. 16/08/2025: The fries were good, but the kids' burger was the worst I've ever eaten. It was just meat, a dry bun, and barely any sauce (ketchup).
