You can't resist the temptations and friendliness of the owners, available to present and have you taste their delicacies!

They're also happy to offer insight and suggestions on their wines. I am excited to return once again in the future!

29/06/2025: Extremely disappointing and upsetting experience. We were a group of 7 friends, who visited this restaurant at 2:25 PM. Despite multiple polite attempts to get someone to take our order, we were completely ignored for nearly 30 minutes. Finally, at 2:55 PM, a staff member approached us with visible irritation and took our order — only to return two minutes later to say the kitchen was closed and we couldn’t be served.
We calmly explained that we had been waiting for almost half an hour without assistance, while several other groups, who arrived after us had already placed their orders, been served, and were eating. Yet we were told the kitchen was closed.
One of us ordered baked potatoes, only to be told they were “finished.” Yet just five minutes later, a new group sat at the table next to ours, ordered the same dish, and received it without any issue. Three of us ordered paninis, which were clearly already prepared and displayed in front of the counter and they still took over 40 minutes to be served.
The contrast in how we were treated versus other guests (who were not people of color) was stark, consistent, and extremely obvious. Sadly, this appeared to be a clear case of racial discrimination. There was no other logical explanation for the delays, denial of service, and general disrespect we experienced.
We were made to feel unwelcome and inferior not because of anything we did, but clearly because of how we looked. No one deserves to be treated this way. I hope the management takes this feedback seriously and addresses the staff behavior, because racism has no place in hospitality, or anywhere else.

04/01/2025: Ciaspe mezze crude all'interno, abbrustolite all' esterno. Pomodoro cotto pochissimo e di cattivo sapore. Condimento poco curato (i miei galletti erano completamente insapore).
Bravi i camerieri, cortesi e veloci, ma la pizza è ai limiti del mangiabile.
Eravamo stati alcuni mesi fa (settembre) ma ho trovato una qualità decisamente peggiore adesso. Peccato.
28/11/2024: Ho sentito molto parlare di questo locale e sicuramente la cena di ieri non ha deluso le mie aspettative.
Abbiamo ordinato una pizza Alpino e una Botte del Re. La Alpino con la sua soppressa di cinghiale e le patate era molto particolare e caratteristica, l'abbiamo apprezzata molto. La pizza botte del re non ha deluso la nostra voglia di piccante, la n'duja ci stava davvero bene.
L'atmosfera è informale, molto accogliente e familiare. Il cameriere, Michael, che ci ha serviti, era molto competente, rapido e simpatico. I suoi consigli per la cena si sono rivelati azzeccatissimi.
Torneremo sicuramente a provare pizza al vapore e ciaspe.

14/11/2024: Locale sullo stile motociclistico e americano. Staff sempre gentile, simpatico, professionale, con la possibilità di scambiare anche una battuta o scherzare. Sempre un sorriso. Il menu è vario. Ci sono delle insalatone, hamburger, panini o piatti misti di carne e verdura. Forse per il mio stomaco non saranno il massimo della leggerezza, ma rimane comunque il mio locale di riferimento se una volta voglio mangiare qualcosa di diverso da una pizza. Consigliatissimo.
02/11/2024: Hamburger crudo, alla richiesta "me lo può cuocere di più?" Il cameriere risponde in modo molto sgarbato "non si può per motivi igienici e comunque non sono d'accordo". La mia compagna ha ordinato il panino con il pulled pork,ma non aveva niente a che fare con l'originale. Nonostante l'inconveniente non è stato fatto un minimo di sconto. Non torneremo.

Rifugio Alpino Dino e Giovanni Chiggiato

15/07/2024: Abbiamo raggiunto il rifugio Chiggiato dopo una passeggiata sul sentiero 260 di 2 ore e mezza a passo molto tranquillo, con parecchie soste per riprendere fiato, per scattare qualche foto ed ammirare il meraviglioso paesaggio che ci circondava. La vista dalla piana dove si trova il rifugio è spettacolare, perché ci si trova letteralmente circondati da vette più alte (io non sono esperta e non le conosco tutte, ma l’Anteleo è quella più riconoscibile), e guardando verso valle la vista cade verso il limpidissimo lago di Calalzo. Siamo rimaste rapite dall’arcobaleno di colori creato da una molteplice varietà di fiori che rivestivano i prati attorno al rifugio.
Abbiamo pranzato in rifugio, ed è stata l’idea migliore che potessimo avere! Avremmo ordinato ogni piatto, ma alla fine la scelta è ricaduta su fagottini pere e formaggio, spezzatino di cervo con polenta, brownie con panna e torta paradiso con marmellata di albicocche… beh, una vera gioia per il palato! Tutto super delizioso, nonostante fossimo in un rifugio (che ovviamente ha risorse limitate) i gusti erano ben equilibrati, cotture perfette, porzioni abbondanti!
Ringraziamo con molto piacere tutto lo staff per questo pranzo, e facciamo i complimenti per la loro cordialità, gentilezza e simpatia.
Dopo qualche minuto stese sull’erba abbiamo fatto ritorno con il sentiero 261 percorso per la maggior parte in mezzo al bosco, molto più largo e dalla pendenza dolce rispetto al percorso fatto salendo, ci abbiamo messo poco meno di 3 ore.
Percorso ad anello super consigliato, ma fatela una sosta in rifugio che merita!

03/05/2025: My sister-in-law gave me a wonderful surprise by giving me a selection of products from this bakery, and I can only thank her! Everything was very fresh, fragrant and genuine: bread that was crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside, tasty focaccias and breakfast desserts that tasted like home.
You can really feel the quality of the ingredients and the artisanal care in the preparation. A simple gift, but full of taste and love. After trying them, I really think I'll go straight to the bakery soon too... or hope for another gift!
Ps...The Easter egg from the lottery we won was delicious, very sweet and filled our house with chocolate.
