The atmosphere is exquisite: soft, cozy, and warmly intimate, with bookshelves and a home-like charm that makes you want to stay for hours. The staff is incredibly friendly and sociable, from "the boss" to every member of the team — you feel welcomed like an old friend. We enjoyed an excellent lunch and left with full hearts and happy palates. Highly recommended!

03/06/2025: Hermoso lugar a lo largo de un pequeño canal. Enzo y el personal era encantador y muy acogedor. Nos ayudaron a ordenar eficientemente también para que no nos sobrepasáramos en el pedido. Te lo agradecemos. La comida y el pescado era delicioso y fresco. Nos gustó especialmente su casa grappa. Grazie para una velada memorable allí en Venezia!

27/05/2025: Posto molto piacevole e di atmosfera per una sosta che non voglia essere un ristorante (anche se soprattutto e’ un ristorante ) abbiamo preso spritz e vari cicchetti: sarde in saor, gamberi in saor, baccalà mantecato, prosciutto cotto con bufala e pomodorini, salmone ed avocado. Ottimi! servizio, molto cortese e garbato. Buono rapporto qualità e prezzo

03/06/2025: Worth it! Nice little place, especially now in season, with an outdoor garden. The dishes are well made and studied, a treat with traditional but also refined flavors. Definitely worth returning to.

26/06/2025: The BEST clam pasta we’ve ever had. The razor clam and scallop appetizer was delicious. Our server recommended the risotto to us which is only made a certain way on Bruno islands. A lot of menu items have a minimum 2 person order so the risotto was 60€ 😳 which was good but nothing of wow factor like the clam pasta was. If we could go back, we’d get the clam pasta and another pasta dish instead. You must make a reservation in advance or get lucky like us and go right off the water taxi to see if any reservations are left. Luckily we got one of the last walk-ins for lunch at 2pm. Total for an appetizer, the risotto for 2 and 1 clam pasta dish which we split was 170€.

25/06/2025: The staff were rude, didn’t feel welcomed at all. We heard that might be the case if we hadn’t booked but didn’t think it would be this bad. We were obviously ignored multiple times by staff. To begin with we felt very unwelcome however the owner came over and was very nice. I think he needs to teach his staff how to be in customer service… The food however was good but slightly overpriced and over hyped.

From the moment I stepped into this beautifully restored cavàna (yes, I learned that’s a fancy Venetian boathouse, thank you very much), I was smitten. The exposed brick arches and mooring hooks whispered tales of gondoliers past, wrapping me in a warm, nostalgic hug that said, “You’re home, even if you’re just visiting.” The food? Oh, dear reader, prepare for a culinary romance. The gnocchi with zucchini and shrimp was like a first kiss—soft, surprising, and utterly unforgettable. 25/06/2025: Probably the worst in Venice oh and by far the most expensive. Smallest portions and definitely sub par at best. Run don’t walk from this place. The owner is the most disrespectful person that we have dealt with in all of our 4 cities in Italy. BUYER BEWARE! The reviews are not wrong. Edit: our waiter said he was the owner of the restaurant which after further conversation, he was not. Still run from this place.

15/06/2025: We celebrated our little girl's birthday, the food was good, the guys who served us were good and kind, but in the children's room it was almost impossible to stay because of the heat, you have to find a solution if you offer us a playroom for the little ones, even in the large room there was too much confusion and the tables were too close, when we came to pay the guy asked us what we had consumed, being a group of about 20 people I don't think it was our job to say it, to avoid confusion it would be better to tell us the table number right away to report it to the cashier to avoid problems or worse pay someone else's bill

14/06/2025: The pizzas are edible, unfortunately other dishes are so poor that you don't even want to try them! Service still needs improvement. Smile, it doesn't cost you anything!

04/06/2025: Mixed appetizer "bel vedere" for 2 people on the menu it says €24.00 per person, the waiter described the dish: 2 scallops, 4 scallops, 2 mussels, hot, cold shrimp, octopus, cuttlefish. I thought I was eating fresh quality fish, given the price. A plate arrived with a mass of stuff, the octopus had to be searched for among the celery and black olives in slices of terrible quality, cuttlefish with surimi and julienne of vegetables in a jar, shrimp in brine completely unseasoned, everything tasted of nothing. I was there some time ago and I ate well, I came back and really .....,,? I don't know if there has been a change of management. Bad anyway.

31/05/2025: A reference place in my area for sushi and more (also Chinese cuisine) TOP raw materials. Very generous take-away portions. Very kind staff and very nice and welcoming place. Very knowledgeable and attentive owners (they are husband and wife). They almost always offer a free drink if you take advantage of take-away. In my opinion the best in the area. Well done, keep it up, a guarantee, I recommend it to everyone

28/05/2025: Good all you can eat restaurant ... The lunch menu was complete and fresh, little attention was paid to the packaging of the sushi, the rice fell apart and was not very cohesive. However acceptable and fresh.

22/05/2025: During our visit to Venice, we decided to have lunch at Osteria Vineria Gastronomica Sepa and we can only speak highly of it. It was a truly pleasant experience in every aspect, from the food to the service, everything was impeccable. As soon as we arrived, we were struck by the lively and authentic atmosphere of the place, which perfectly reflects the Venetian spirit. Despite the fact that you eat standing up (there are no tables or chairs), the environment is so welcoming and well-organized that it didn't bother us at all. On the contrary, it made the experience even more special and genuine. The food was the real protagonist, very fresh products, well prepared and with an exceptional flavor. You can clearly see the care in the choice of ingredients and the attention to local tradition, with a touch of originality that makes each proposal interesting. We found a nice variety and everything we tasted satisfied us fully. The staff was truly delightful, kind, helpful and very quick in serving us, despite the place being quite crowded. You can feel the enthusiasm and professionalism of those who work with passion and love contact with people. The price is absolutely right for the quality of the dishes and the overall experience. In a city where you often fear coming across poorly maintained tourist places, Sepa represents a beautiful exception, authentic, well-kept and honest. We enthusiastically recommend stopping by if you find yourself in Venice. Whether it's for a quick lunch, an aperitif or a break between one walk and another, it's really worth it. We will definitely be back next time!
