16/03/2024: In my opinion the best apres ski in Cervinia, suitable for a young clientele, very fast staff even though the place was very crowded. I recommend, I will definitely return!!!
17/02/2024: Brilliant location in a lovely resort. Cervinia is not the most picturesque or lively village in the Alps but the surrounding mountains are stunning with great intermediate skiing. The hotel is ski-in/out and really well located at the top of the town. Even with the benefit of a couple of weeks of post-holiday reality to reflect, everything was wonderful. It manages to combine a modern laid back vibe with coziness and a really friendly family feel. The food is, without exception, fantastic. Generally nothing is too much trouble for the staff - for example they were always happy to give us a lift down to, and more importantly, up from the centre of the village even though it's only 5 mins. All this before I ended up in hospital for a scan with concussion (entirely self inflicted) - they couldn't have been more helpful to my wife, enquired about how I was getting on and laid on a great and much needed spread of food when we got back at midnight.

29/10/2023: I went with my family today for lunch, we stumbled upon this inn by chance, highly recommended!!!!! The managers were very kind and attentive, the food was of excellent quality, everything was very good and plentiful. We will definitely return. Thank you!!!

24/08/2023: Di ritorno da Aosta, ci siamo fermati in questa pasticceria per acquistare un dolce. Abbiamo scelto una crostata alla frutta. Qualità della frolla ottima, oltre che a una presentazione splendida della frutta freschissima.

The location ( in a clearing in a forest); the comforting Scandinavian- evoking interior; the welcoming owner; and above all the exceptional food, true to the terroir, and absolutely delicious. We loved it so much, we went back the second night. I wish the owners every success in their aim for a distinctive “ slow food”, “ savour the moment” authentic gastronomic philosophy. I wish I didn’t live in the Southern Hemisphere!

17/03/2024: We had an absolutely fabulous stay at Wongade! The owner and Martina could not have been more helpful and accommodating. Location was great, comfortable rooms and fabulous on site restaurant, with the added bonus of a sauna, perfect for after a days skiing! A true gem in gressoney, we will be back!
One minor improvement is to maybe have coffee/tea making facilities in room - however all we had to do was ask and we were provided with all we needed no matter the time.
Thank you Wongade for a truly memorable stay!
12/03/2024: The all-wooden cabin is made with attention to the smallest details, tasteful and valuable materials, room 5 is very large and romantic, an equally large bathroom with a modern shower. We stayed one evening for dinner, nice atmosphere, background music, local menu, very interesting wine list. Well presented and above all delicious dishes, smiling waitress always available for any questions.
All excellent, for a correct expense compared to the service offered. Experience to be repeated.
