10/12/2024: We specifically headed for Knödelglück because we had read the good reviews beforehand. So we took a beautiful stroll through Merano and then stopped in. Even though we didn't have a reservation, we only had to wait a few minutes and were seated with a stunning view over Merano. The service was friendly and excellent. Then the food arrived, and our high expectations were not disappointed! It really was excellent. Therefore, Knödelglück is an absolute must-recommend, and we would gladly return! If I had one small improvement, it would be to have a typical children's dish on the menu (pasta or fries), but that's really just a personal request.

When asked, the boss reported how much love and precision the preparation of the dumplings started the day before. The dessert dumplings were also delicious. The portion will definitely fill you up, so dessert is more for sharing.
The service could have been a little faster or more attentive.
Great location and beautiful view from the terrace!

08/06/2025: We had an excellent meal – our dish was very delicately and lovingly prepared. The ambiance is outstanding, stylish, and inviting. The service was also attentive, friendly, and professional. Thank you so much for the wonderful lunch!
05/06/2025: Bistro 7 is an institution! A very nice owner, excellent and, above all, friendly staff.
The food (although we've only eaten there twice) is very good. But we usually go there for a drink in a relaxed atmosphere. And to top it off... our dog always gets a treat.

Both had no flavor or seasoning at all.

03/05/2025: Super Lage am Ende der Winterpromenade. Alles sehr schön gestylt. Wunderbares Essen, kleine saisonale Karte und ein paar Empfehlungen. Tolles 70er Ambiente auch innen im Lokal. Es war sehr schön!!!
28/04/2025: I’ll always remember this evening :) Lived the food — some staples like the pasatelli with the 24h ragu and the upside down tiramisu were exceptional, and the creative mains were delicious!

01/02/2025: Visited in January 2025, a very interesting and beautifully set up "architecture and territory" themed exhibition.
The exhibition space is conceived in an original and rational way in an extraordinarily organized space.
Truly, a recommended visit.

05/04/2025: I booked a brunch the week before, once I arrived at the bar I was told that they no longer offer this service... terrible also because I came from Bolzano on purpose.
During the call it was necessary to say it first and also remove it from the paper menu as it is on display while sitting at the table.
03/02/2025: Went for a coffee, no newspapers, barely enough coffee. The beautiful glass window allows you to enjoy the sun. I took a look at the menu which, honestly, doesn't seem like much to me.

27/03/2025: Leider schon um 15:30 Uhr kein Kaiserschmarrn mehr im Angebot und der Macchiatone ist der bislang schlechteste weit & breit, dazu noch teurer als bei jeder Konkurrenz.
25/02/2025: Persone maleducate, fredde, carenti di umanità e con pregiudizi nei confronti dei clienti italiani come loro.PerNon ci hanno permesso di entrare all'interno del bar con un passeggino e, tantomeno, hanno consentito alla nostra nipotina di 4 anni di utilizzare la toilette.
