10/12/2024: We specifically went to Knödelglück because we read the good reviews in advance. So we took a wonderful walk through Meran and then stopped at Knödelglück. Although we didn't have a reservation, we only had to wait a few minutes and were then given a seat with a fantastic view over Meran. The service was friendly and excellent. Then the food arrived and our high expectations were not disappointed! It was really excellent. Therefore, Knödelglück is an absolute recommendation and we would love to come back! If I had a little room for improvement, it would be great to have a typical children's meal on the menu (pasta or fries), but that's really just a personal wish.

08/11/2024: The food was really excellent! When asked, the boss reported how much love and precision the preparation of the dumplings started the day before. The dessert dumplings were also delicious. The portion will definitely fill you up, so dessert is more for sharing. The service could have been a little faster or more attentive. Great location and beautiful view from the terrace!

25/01/2025: In Merano for a short holiday, we had dinner here and I must say that we had a great time. I had the vegetable pizza, I must say that I don't remember having ever eaten such a good pizza... my partner had a ceaser salad, very rich and abundant, satisfied! Friendly staff, comfortable environment. Optimal

02/01/2025: Restaurant booked the day before for New Year's Eve evening. At first glance, very cute. There was very little choice on the à la carte menu, all at high prices. We ordered a first course of paccheri with lobster for €26, which was clearly defrosted and tasteless. The waiter was insistent and hasty to send us away. Due to the table's indecision between white and red wine, the waiter invited us to take two half liters of different bottled wines, which he brought to us in jugs without allowing us to see, much less try the taste. The final surprise was €170 for 4 first courses and a total liter of wine. And we could continue the list…

30/12/2024: Clean and well organized bistro bar. Fast service, friendly staff. Few choices but excellent quality. Super recommended for a quick lunch break

04/01/2025: The food was both cheap and surprisingly good. We did have to wait a bit but the staff made up for it by moving our table in the sun and bringing us free fries. The location is also beautiful.

17/01/2025: Insanely great atmosphere. Food & wine fantastic. Service was very friendly, but on the evening of our visit we were a bit surprised by the heavy rush and as a result a bit overloaded. The result was longer waiting times. But since it is very beautiful here, that didn't bother us.

06/01/2025: The place is amazing, really. From the fantastic furnishings to the tiles (even in the bathrooms). The menu is very interesting, yet unexpected. Reading friggitelli or 'nduja is always a pleasure, and in fact trying these dishes we were pleasantly surprised - a little less so by passatelli, but I must admit that I'm too well used to it. We then ate a risotto with apple and popcorn, really interesting. I defined the place as funky, and that's why even choosing the wines in the cellar upstairs or the extremely 'dry' service make the experience truly pleasant. We then drank an incredible red turnip liqueur. Another positive note: the background music was perfect. I understand some negative reviews as Meteo is particular and not really for everyone, but certainly for many - like me and my friends last night - it is truly exceptional. Worth trying in the summer at dusk.
