29/03/2026: Since 2020, we've dined at Lampl at least once or twice during our holidays. We also get pizzas there at least once per trip.
There must be a reason for that. The food is excellent, as is the service, and the ambiance also plays a part.
One of the best restaurants in the upper Vinschgau Valley.
See you next time, in the last week of August 2026.

14/09/2025: Beautiful location in Mals, a bit off the beaten track but with a fantastic view. Delicious selection of cakes and tarts. Meinl coffee specialties and super friendly and welcoming service.
12/09/2025: Beautiful views of the mountains in Mals. They also serve delicious cake and coffee. I highly recommend it.

18/03/2026: We went ski touring and stayed at the Sesvenna Hut. It was wonderful! The hut has been newly renovated and offers every luxury, right down to a beautifully equipped reading corner. The new management team was very welcoming and conjured up delicious South Tyrolean specialties. We'd love to come back again…🤗
15/03/2026: An AVS mountain hut that's only open on weekends – unacceptable!
The response is unhelpful. On Sunday, March 8, 2026, I tried calling (without a response). There's NO information about opening hours on the website. I also inquired online via your website whether you're open on Monday (our planned tour day). The reply, sent by email on Monday (!), stated: we're only open on weekends. So, what's the truth?

13/11/2023: Aus älteren Bewertungen und durch Reisebücher erwartet man ein Slow Food Restaurant. Es fand seitdem wohl ein Besitzerwechsel statt. Das Lokal ist heute eine Pizzeria. Leider keine, die wir wieder besuchen würden, denn die ‚Prosciutto, Funghi‘ war in Dosenchampignons ertrunken, der Schinken geräuchert

31/07/2024: Vista mozzafiato.
Dopo aver lasciato l’auto a Slingia ci siamo incamminati verso la il rifugio Sesvenna.
Dopo una salita abbastanza impegnativa siamo finalmente arrivati e ad attenderci abbiamo trovato personale gentile e piatti molto buoni, ad un prezzo piu che coerente.
Oramai per noi il rifugio è tappa obbligata ogni volta che soggiorniamo in questa zona.
Vivamente consigliato.
