04/01/2025: We have been visiting Volterra in summer and tried different restaurants in the area, this is one of the best places we have eat (been there several times) with a great selection of food and friendly staff.

18/02/2025: We stayed here in a "superior" room for 5 nights in August 2024. Location very good (each about 1 hour to Florence, Pisa or Siena), Volterra and San Gimigliano very close by. Good restaurant, breakfast unfortunately mediocre (e.g. only one, pre-cut sort of bread to fight for...). The house wine is served in front of the guest from plastic boxes. Pool nice, but clean is different. Too few loungers for all guests. But the worst was our superior room. Fantastically photographed on Booking, but in reality tight, dirty, upholstery stank, hardly any light, small wardrobe, bathroom borderline ok. Don‘t want to see a standard room! Not to recommend, look for an alternative in this sight and spend 10.- more per night! Sorry, never again…

28/01/2025: Very beautiful place! The people are very kind and attentive. During our stay, we were invited to the birthday of a girl who works there, lovely Eleanor! Spectacular views and very delicious food.

16/01/2025: The pappardelle with duck ragù turned out to be nothing resembling a ragù, the meat was shredded and there were little bones in the sauce. I refrained from ordering anything else. Yes, I was wrong, it wasn't pappardelle but lean ravioli always with duck ragù

15/01/2025: Excellent stopping point in the center to enjoy an excellent aperitif.
