05/10/2025: 3 very successful experiences in this bistro (at different times). Beyond the superb view outside (panoramic terrace), the atmosphere is very pleasant. The service is fast (even in the middle of August) and the staff friendly. We ate very well each time and the prices are reasonable for this very touristy village. We will return with great pleasure the next time we are in Volterra.

15/10/2025: A truly beautiful hotel. Highly recommended for anyone seeking peace and quiet and a true Tuscan feel. I'm writing this review during my stay and am really annoyed by some of the reviews I read beforehand. I actually wanted to cancel my booking because of these reviews. It would have been a mistake. Of course, you shouldn't expect a 5-star Hilton here. But then you're in the wrong place anyway. Yes, a few minor repairs or maintenance can't hurt. And everyone's needs are certainly different. The most important thing, though, is that it's clean, quiet, and the food is delicious. The breakfast is simply fantastic! And the view is fantastic, too. We stayed there for 4 nights with our dog. We would come back in a heartbeat! Thank you!

16/01/2025: The pappardelle with duck ragù turned out to be nothing resembling a ragù; the meat was shredded, and there were bones in the sauce. I refrained from ordering anything else. Yes, I was wrong; they weren't pappardelle, but lean ravioli, also with duck ragù.

15/01/2025: An excellent stop in the center to enjoy an excellent aperitif.
