15/01/2026: You'll be very happy with your choice. Wonderful food and wines, an amazing little cafe with plenty of atmosphere and a great story.
The owners are friendly, knowledgeable and great hosts.

22/11/2025: The location is fantastic, as are the à la carte meals and breakfast. The only downside is that they don't offer any activities. They did offer us a wine tasting, but it was at a venue about 40 minutes away by car. Considering you're just there to relax, it's great and has fantastic views.

Unfortunately, there was a somewhat long wait due to staff shortages

16/01/2025: The pappardelle with duck ragù turned out to be nothing resembling a ragù; the meat was shredded, and there were bones in the sauce. I refrained from ordering anything else. Yes, I was wrong; they weren't pappardelle, but lean ravioli, also with duck ragù.
15/01/2025: An excellent stop in the center to enjoy an excellent aperitif.

06/10/2024: Siamo passati da volterra per un giro in moto ma non volevamo pranzare nei soliti ristoranti ma qualcosa di più veloce.
A tutta pizza è stata un toccasana.
Siamo entrati per un pezzo di pizza al taglio e ci siamo trovati teglie di lasagne,arancini,risotto e parmigiana.
Abbiamo mangiato un po di tutto sotto consiglio del cuoco Beppe che ringraziamo molto per la sua disponibilità e cordialità.
Torneremo sicuramente.

03/08/2024: Super Essen, fantastische Lage und sehr freundliche Gastgeber! Wir wohnten im benachbarten Podere San Michele und sind sowohl zum Essen als auch auc ein Getränk ein paar Mal in einer Woche hin.
