08/03/2026: We went there for a retirement party. The food was excellent.
03/03/2026: I was passing through during the Carnival, I was stopping at a campervan. I ordered three pizzas to go, they were delicious, and the price was excellent.
The owner was very friendly; he even offered me a beer while I waited. What can I say? Fantastic meal. Next time, I'll have a full meal.

23/11/2025: They put us in the back room, which isn't heated (at the end of November). We asked if they could turn on the stove in the room, but it wasn't possible (we don't know why).
Even getting a bottle of water was a problem. It seemed like it wasn't available...
The food was very greasy.

21/02/2026: 1. At the entrance there was a woman asking for personal information in order to do something with RANGE ROVER, which was out of place for the kind of experience we were expecting;
2. The service was excellent!
3. The spaghetti with clams were unfortunately over salted, even though the quality of the food was excellent;
4. The pasta with truffles was delicious and delicate!
5. The seabass with capers and olives was excellent (but a bit over salted).
We are looking forward to coming back, but the next time will mention to put less salt!
11/01/2026: I dined at Giardino dei Mari in Viareggio and the experience was overall very positive. Following the staff's guidance, I tried a sea bass with Vernaccia wine, which was simply phenomenal: a perfect balance of flavors and incredibly fresh fish.
The paccheri were also very good, cooked to perfection and well-seasoned. For me, fried fish is always the "test point" for a seafood restaurant: the mixed seafood was excellent, crispy and flavorful, but unfortunately the squid had the wrong texture, which detracted somewhat from its pleasantness.
It's a real shame, because this detail prevents me from awarding a fifth star, despite the fact that the closing was a success with some phenomenal desserts.
Overall, an excellent place where the passion for cooking shines through. I'll definitely be back to be amazed by their dishes again!

We had a wonderful meal with superb, generous portions. Fantastic seafood carbonara, excellent fried food, and a spectacular seafood feast.
The staff were friendly and very helpful.
24/08/2025: I'm referring to the restaurant: prices are slightly high for the type of establishment (beach resort). The excellent ingredients are noteworthy, however.

Fast service. Good food, club sandwiches, salads, etc. The only downside is that the tables are a little too small for four people.

25/11/2025: Although the sea wasn't always cooperative, this beach resort proved to be excellent on several fronts. First and foremost, the umbrellas and loungers were well-maintained, although there wasn't much space between them. The bar service prepared excellent lunches, and the staff was always friendly.
07/10/2025: We stopped by at the end of the season for a coffee by the sea. Excellent service, with children's games on the sand. Friendly and welcoming staff. Highly recommended, even for long-term stays; the facilities look excellent.

11/12/2025: Huge potential, probably under-exploited due to the off-season. There's a children's area, although it's not proportionate to the size of the venue. I hope to return in the summer to see if any differences arise.

Pizza is also available, and takeout is also available.
Not recommended on weekends and holidays due to the high traffic and therefore longer wait times.

16/09/2025: I had lunch at this restaurant during my work break and was truly surprised. I had ordered a plate of fried cod without much expectation, but what arrived was a true triumph of flavor and abundance. In addition to the crispy, flavorful cod, there were beans, fresh salad, and spectacular caramelized onions, which alone were worth the trip. A rich, varied dish, with attention to detail, which conveys passion and attention to detail in the kitchen. I truly hope to return to Viareggio soon for another lunch like this!
10/08/2025: The food was really good and it felt very local and traditional. The cutlery was a bit dirty but they changed it immediately when we pointed it out. I didn’t feel scammed at all like the some other restaurants in Viareggio.

01/11/2025: We went here for seafood. Once we arrived, the lady listed the various options without giving us a paper menu, so the price was completely surprising... The three of us spent €130 for three seafood appetizers and three seafood pasta dishes. The seafood was good, but the fried cod in the appetizer was still frozen.
07/09/2025: We were at Chiatona in the open air, the service was impeccable, with a simple trailer transformed into a mini pizzeria, fantastic, with the lady, the wife of Mr. Tagariello, really good, very friendly, and we will return, to Massafra

06/03/2026: The place feels a bit like a working-class house, but the tables are well spaced apart for privacy.
The decor is a bit dated.
It's definitely a party place in the summer, with a DJ booth and live music.
Anyway, time will help. Good luck and good luck for the summer months ahead.

02/11/2025: I would say it was a rather negative experience!!!! The order arrived an hour after the requested time, justified by the fact that it was placed on an app and therefore not precise... to make matters worse, the pizzas ordered were 5 and only 4 arrived!!! And finally, I would like to add, if not the worst, the rudeness and lack of professionalism of the girl who answered the phone when I called to ask for an explanation!!! I would like to tell her that if she doesn't want to do this job, she should change it!!!!!! Too bad because I also think the pizzas are good!!!! Patience!!!

18/10/2025: The worst experience of my life in a restaurant. We were a group of twenty, and after over an hour, some had finished eating and others still hadn't received anything. I complained to the pizza chef (who I later learned was also the owner of the restaurant) and he replied that he had done everything as ordered, going so far as to verbally and then physically threaten my cousin who had approached to help me. The pizza chef/owner was dragged away by the waiters and no one replaced him at the oven, leaving part of the group without dinner. They even had the nerve to charge us full price (a €10 discount!!) in cash because the register was closed, and absolutely without issuing a receipt. An absolute disgrace. The children in the group were terrified to see us attacked like this by someone and talked about the incident for weeks. We were unsure whether to call the police. Definitely avoid this place!!
21/09/2025: We've always been customers, but this year, with the change of management, we had a terrible experience at the restaurant. We ordered three pizzas and one first course; the spaghetti and one pizza arrived immediately, but the rest took over an hour, simply because we repeatedly asked the pizza chef and waiter. One pizza would come out at random, and they'd bring it to tables that arrived after us. Extremely disorganized, we won't be returning.
