05/07/2026: Exceptional cuisine. We were referred to this delicatessen by the residents of Castellammare del Golfo, who frequent it for its excellent traditional cuisine. Their seafood couscous is delicate and flavorful, served with a hot broth that they deliver separately. Everything is so good, it's hard to choose what to try! Congratulations! 💯

16/07/2026: During my wife and I'd had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant located at the port of Castellammare del Golfo. What a perfect choice! Everything was perfect, from the service to the dishes. Starting with the appetizer, a delicious octopus carpaccio with vegetables. Then we moved on to two first courses: busiate del cumpà, a house specialty with a truly exquisite shellfish ragù; and my wife's choice, spaghetti with zucchini and tuna pesto, truly exceptional. Finally, dessert was a delight. The Bacio Pantesco and almond parfait, both EXCEPTIONAL. A must-try if you're in Castellammare.

15/07/2026: We spent a wonderful evening at Cumpa restaurant. The fish was incredibly fresh, and every dish was prepared with great care and quality: truly special, with unforgettable flavors. The staff was extremely kind, attentive, and always available, making us feel welcomed from start to finish. Excellent service, thanks to Dario and Antonio, always professional and friendly. The atmosphere is relaxing and pleasant, perfect for enjoying an excellent dinner in peace. Kudos to all the staff: we will definitely be back and recommend it to anyone who wants to eat excellent seafood in a welcoming atmosphere.

04/07/2026: We were waiting for the table to be cleaned. After that the random people, who just arrived, were seated in our place. We were told to wait another 10 mins… don’t recommend, the staff is very unprofessional

27/06/2026: Lovely place to sit in the alley, super friendly service, pizza also very good, a bit too much crust for our taste but that's a matter of personal preference anyway, I would recommend it without hesitation, thanks for the lovely evening 😊

17/05/2026: We happened upon the sign on the road, spontaneously turned off, and weren't deterred by the somewhat adventurous access road. Although we were initially turned away at the restaurant because we didn't have a reservation, we were eventually shown to a table and enjoyed a delicious pizza. The service was very pleasant, and even though we only got to enjoy one excellent pizza because the restaurant was fully booked, we thoroughly enjoyed our evening.

14/05/2026: We celebrated my daughter's confirmation and it was a success, everything was delicious and all our guests complimented us. A special thanks to Girolamo, you're a super guy. We'll be back soon.

15/07/2026: Review update in response to the restaurant owners' comment posted today, July 15, 2026 I acknowledge your response, but I reject the insinuations that I have "problems to resolve elsewhere." I consider this statement disrespectful to a customer who simply shared his experience. I would like to point out that this was my second visit to your restaurant under the new management. I wasn't satisfied with my first experience, but I wanted to trust you and give you a second chance. Unfortunately, I should have followed my instincts. I confirm what you wrote: the pizza was, in my opinion, inedible, burned, with completely dry salami and a rubbery crust. The swordfish was a dried-out slice and far from what one would expect. I also confirm the service: my husband had already finished his meal when my pizza arrived, and, while we waited, tables that had arrived after us were served. As for the bitterness, it wasn't a financial complaint. We would have paid for it without any problem, but it was obvious they were out of stock, and only a drop was served. It was right not to charge for it. When asked if the pizza was okay, I said no and explained why. I was offered to remake it, but I declined because, having also looked at the pizzas served at other tables, I believed the result would be the same. My reviews are always authentic. When I have a good experience, I write it with enthusiasm, as demonstrated by the reviews published for Ristorante Paguro in Balestrate and La Conchiglia - Approdo dei Saraceni. I have no interest in harming anyone. Criticism, if expressed politely, should be welcomed as an opportunity for improvement and not as a personal attack. This has simply been my experience, and I continue to uphold it.
