17/04/2025: It is unthinkable to know the price of individual dishes and wines in advance. You order blindly. Approximate final bill and approximated in excess of 170 euros. All done in mind, without a single piece of receipt. Making the division, I realize that a slice of focaccia di Recco, a mixed salad with rare visible octopus tentacles and a glass of wine cost me 40 euros. I think the pre-Christmas lunch agreed at 40 euros by a local guide reviewer is imaginative.

11/05/2025: Embarrassing disorganization, Saturday evening, 3 of us behind the counter, waiting 25 minutes for a piece of focaccia and the staff absolutely incapable of recognizing priorities.
More than 10 people passed me and, even though I pointed it out, I was repeatedly ignored
No, I blame the staff but the organization behind it... I repeat: embarrassing not to be organized knowing that you are the only bar open on Saturday evenings.
I recommend it only if you have no other alternatives.

11/03/2025: I booked a dinner for my nephew's birthday, there were 15 people and I was almost certain that it would be a nice evening. Wow, what a carefully decorated room, the fabulous menu, all super welcoming. I recommend it. Thanks to Mrs Carlotta and Matteo. The guests were super satisfied

22/05/2025: Buongiorno. Ieri pomeriggio 21 maggio 2025 sono andata con un amica per fare un aperitivo dal famoso bar Carletto. Abbiamo ordinato 2 crodini . La ragazza ha chiesto alla mia amica se voleva anche 2 pattatine. Va be.... poi vado a pagare e aspetto un bell po che finiscano di farsi cavoli loro al telefono . Per 2 crodini e 2 patatine in croce 10 euro mi è sembrato un po esagerato. Sullo scontrino lhanno chiamato aperitivo... Mai più..
18/05/2025: We entered with the (pleasing) illusion of enjoying a mid-afternoon coffee during a pleasant stroll. Unfortunately our plan foundered in the face of the unspeakable rudeness of the staff. After approaching the counter, the staff, with whom we repeatedly exchanged glances so that they cannot even say they did not see us, ignored us completely and with an evident hint of contempt (perhaps because we were wearing sportswear?). People who entered after us were immediately served with smiles and bows while our presence was revealed to the staff as ectoplasmic. I should point out that we were at the counter, in the front row, and therefore there is no doubt that it was our turn. After a good 5/6 minutes of waiting, indignant at this indecent treatment, we left this "place" finding a courteous welcome and an exquisite macchiato in the Teatro bar a little further on, where we will definitely return and which I recommend to all readers.

Impeccable service, pizza structurally passable but totally raw. Indigestible at night and spent the night trying to find a remedy. Never again!

03/07/2025: We organized our wedding party at the Cascina Battignana farmhouse.
Marco met all our needs with extreme availability and kindness and prepared for us and our guests an exceptional vegan lunch that even the most skeptical appreciated!
The location was enchanting, we felt like we were in a fairy tale.
Everything was even more beautiful than we could have expected, Marco really made us all feel at home. Extreme flexibility, there were no time limits, neither in the evening, nor even on the following day that we spent pleasantly at the pool with the closest family.
In our opinion, the quality/price ratio was unmatched.
The farmhouse is family-run, and this can be perceived from various points of view!

13/07/2025: Sono venuta stasera con la mia famiglia dopo qualche ora di shopping. Conoscevo già questo locale, che prima di oggi non mi aveva mai deluso, ma stasera ho ordinato l'insalata con salmone e avocado , e con delusione ho notato che il salmone era veramente poco rispetto al solito ( considerando il prezzo dell'insalata). Quando vado al tavolo mi accorgo che mi era stato dato solo l'aceto in bustina monoporzione ma non l'olio, lo dico a mio marito che carinamente è andato al bancone per chiederlo, e la ragazza ha risposto con menefreghismo che era finito. Mio marito allora ha detto che non capisce perché non l'abbiano detto subito, visto che avrei evitato di spendere quasi 10 euro per una insalata insipida , composto al 90% da lattuga, qualche pezzetto di avocado e un pezzetto di salmone.
09/04/2025: We were there yesterday after a couple of years. The food is always good and the staff friendly. But it was difficult to eat because I think it smelled like sewage or something similar. Yet the place is clean, it will come from some drain, I don't know, but do something.

01/05/2025: Before, the old owner was more correct and helpful..
Now the new management is increasingly reducing the size of 🍣 sushi and in many seconds now and side dishes, if you don't take at least 3 dishes, you won't enjoy the portion so minimal. Taking into account the increased price of drinks, wines, coffee and very expensive desserts, alas..., especially ice cream, 5 euros!!! minimum.. for children ???and not at all artisanal... Children pay like adults exceeding 1.30m..even if they eat less than half, I'm sorry,..and the quality compared to the previous management has dropped a lot, alas.
I no longer consider it as convenient and good as before, I think, if before you went 3/4 times a month, now we go once every 2 months... with this I hope it helps you... both to the restaurant and to future customers.
My opinion.
15/03/2025: We ate for lunch today, it wasn't the first time we ate here, we always had a good time and that's why we came back without looking at the latest reviews which unfortunately I have to confirm...
We enter (there is still the Christmas tree, in March, oh well) and immediately a table full of jackets and stuff piled up and we are immediately surprised, in a negative way obviously.
We sit down, order and everything arrives in a decidedly acceptable time, the taste is practically the same as always, everything is fine but then, the second round of orders and the catastrophe...
A dish arrives immediately and then it's empty, 20 minutes for the second dish and we never saw the others, among other things the grilled salmon we had was finished but no one had the thought to warn us...
We pay, behind the cash register a mess of stuff that has nothing to do with catering, dirt and disorder.
We have come to the conclusion that management has changed and things have fallen into oblivion... Too bad, we should look for another sushi place for when we return to these parts.
