18/10/2025: For me, these 5 stars you give are not enough... everything here is fantastic, the place is small, but welcoming and typical, the cuisine is simply fantastic, the service is exceptional, what can I say? I was there on Thursday for lunch... and I repeat that it is one of the places where I have eaten best in my almost 60 years of life. I ate the ravioli al vino... fabulous, the risotto with barbera and radicchio (I may have got the wine wrong...) was something sublime... and also the minetrone and the meat... honestly... it deserves some Michelin stars!

03/12/2025: The farinata was good, although the wait was impossible. They prioritized takeout over dining. The pan pizzas needed revisiting, as was the service, which was just below par. Prices were average.
02/11/2025: We had the farinata and cheese focaccia, which was delicious (it's very similar to Recco focaccia). The new management is top-notch. They're very courteous. I'm very happy 🤩

23/11/2025: We came with high expectations to try Mezzaro's coffee and were equally impressed, both by their skill in making coffee and their warm hospitality. Not to mention the incredible pastries, where you can see the care taken in selecting the ingredients and the passion that goes into making them. A true delight.
We highly recommend it and will return whenever we're in Alessandria (or nearby). Greetings from Argentina.

My son and I came in hungry and left full, happy, and maybe a little high on sugar. The burgers? Juicy, messy, the kind you eat with both hands and a grin. The fried cod? Crisp outside, flaking apart inside—like it actually knew what a fryer was for. Potatoes were golden and honest. Cola classica cold and real. The cake? Let's just say we didn’t leave crumbs.
No fuss, no overthinking—just good food, served right, in a place that knows how to feed people.
Sometimes that’s all you need.

One of the last bars to offer an excellent aperitivo at fair prices.
24/09/2025: Arriving in Casale Monferrato for the first time, we asked where we could eat, and they recommended Bar Tazzine & Ramine. A perfect recommendation: tagliatelle with mushrooms, tajarin with sausage and Barbera. Two glasses of red wine. Homemade tiramisu, and tartate. Friendly, attentive service. If you're in Casale Monferrato, remember Bar Tazzine & Ramine.

09/12/2025: Excellent pizzeria where you can truly breathe the Neapolitan atmosphere. We came from Alessandria for another reason, but they quickly found us a seat (with considerable difficulty but a lot of effort, as they were very busy) to accommodate us. I recommend booking ahead of time.
We'll definitely be back to enjoy the pizzas and fried foods.
The delicious desserts are a plus!

26/11/2025: Having reserved a table, we had no problem finding a seat. The place is welcoming and has a Milanese feel. The bottles are beautifully displayed behind the bar. They offer an interesting fixed-price aperitivo, with delicious and original cocktails, or wines by the glass and beers. The appetizers are limited but good. The dinner menu is limited to a few interesting dishes, or various burgers and salads. Prices aren't cheap, but they're not over the top either (the portion sizes, however, aren't 100% satisfying), in keeping, I repeat, with Milanese style.

21/11/2025: Unfortunately, they don't offer a menu, only verbally, so you don't understand the prices of the food offered. The appetizers are good, the tagliolini with porcini mushrooms are tasteless. The bill is very high... personal opinion (avoid).

The Dr. Seller restaurant is small, with limited seating, so reservations are always recommended.
It offers both meat and fish menus. The menu isn't written à la carte, but is narrated by one of the waiters (a strategic move, but not a particularly wise one, given that you can't see the prices before choosing your meal).
We had an appetizer, fried seafood (very tasty) and fried mushrooms. For the main course, a paella made with fregola pasta. Good, but nothing exceptional.
It would definitely be worth returning; other dishes I saw—including meat ones—looked very good.
The price was perhaps a little steep.
