25/08/2024: The ice cream here is exceptional. The variety of flavors is always interesting and challenging, pushing you to try them all. Both the water-based and milk-based flavors are delicious. The owner is very kind and courteous.

Peccato.

09/08/2024: The best pinsa in the area! Super crunchy dough, excellent quality ingredients, friendly staff attentive to customer needs. Convenient to reach and easy parking.
04/08/2024: Particular place, very airy and fresh, especially in August it doesn't hurt, vast choice of the classic menu plus a separate off-menu.
Fish courses, first courses, burgers and pizzas.
Medium-high prices.
Perhaps there is little availability of desserts, at 1.30pm many are already finished... Oh well, coffee and off you go!

28/08/2024: Better than other restaurants in the same chain: same offer, but better prepared, especially for the pizza dough which is decidedly better leavened. Young and friendly staff, good service.
Some tables are placed in front of the windows and since the place is raised above the street level, the customers at those tables (in particular their legs) are actually on display on the street aquarium style.
26/08/2024: Excellent pizza unfortunately inside very hot and too noisy, we ate the pizza on the fly and left in a hurry without even having the coffee. All the tables around were complaining about the same problem

13/07/2024: Excellent experience in this place in Busto Arsizio. Delicious raw materials, excellent pizza and light and easily digestible dough.
The desserts are homemade and really tasty, a good choice of beers with suggestions on how to combine them for each pizza (among other things, the beers are not always the usual ones but, in fact, they are artisanal or on tap and are really special!).
In short, Officina del Gusto has risen to first place in my top ten!
Efficient service, the girls are young, kind and really professional, they fly at the tables.
The prices are average and still justified for what you can taste in this place.
The bruschettas are also very popular and are very special.
I will definitely return and highly recommend it!

22/08/2024: I can say with certainty that it is the best ice cream shop in the city, quality ingredients, not too heavy or sugary like everyone else does now, their ice cream stands out because it is truly artisanal, the staff is very young, but they are polite guys, the owner is kind and yes he loves his business. The birthday cakes are well balanced, I recommend them.

23/08/2024: The breakfast is excellent and at a good price. The girls/uncles at the bar could use a hand to speed things up, but they are very good. JUST ONE NOTE. Maybe the croissants that are stuffed with Nutella, if they fall on the floor while you prepare them, throw them away. Instead they were served on the counter. Let's avoid these unpleasant events.....well done everyone anyway.

30/04/2024: At BROS self service you basically get what you paid for which is a rare occurrence in the province of Varese.
The place is clean, the portions are generous, the service is fast and efficient and the espresso is a lot better than the 6 or 7 cafes I tried so far in Busto Arsizio (this is why I awarded a fourth star in the food category).
The slight downside is the pasta sauce was somewhat anaemic and the healthy options pretty much boil down to boiled/grilled vegetables or salad greens without any exciting sauce.
That is however a common phenomenon all over Italy 🇮🇹
The lentil soup was hearty and pleasant and is a very welcome protein boost in the land of 1,001 variations on wheat and more wheat🌾
The dessert I believe was a creme caramel.
The good news is it is not at all sweet.
The not-so-good news is because the sweet topping is a small amount I felt I was eating non salty cheese.
PS: Why on God's green earth is there lame loud American 🇺🇸 music in most food venues in Lombardy (tunes I never heard before nor ever wish to hear)?
Are they soundtracks from HBO serials?

11/08/2024: With a €9 receipt, guilty of having bought an ice cream cone, I am barred from sitting inside the restaurant. Note that my partner consumed tea and a brioche (€5). I was offered to buy the ice cream in a glass cup at a cost of €6. Beyond the high prices, now standardized, I find it absurd that one cannot consume an ice cream cone while sitting inside the restaurant.

The staff is always available, even doing the favor of making me an order on the fly after closing time.

16/04/2024: Pranzo pessimo. Prendo menù fisso che comprende il dolce, alle ore 13, non in orari strani.
Acqua naturale terminata (ma veramente?!) dolci terminati.
Prendo una banale pasta al pomodoro piuttosto immangiabile per poi arrivare al caffè che assomigliava più a del bioetanolo.
Mi fanno pagare il menù intero e gli faccio presente che nel menù doveva essere presente il dolce però terminato. Ride e mi risponde che oggi è andata così...
No comment ma sicuramente non mi vede più.
