While Sabine takes care of a unique dinner ambiance by being charming and having decorated the guest room in an artsy avant-gardist style, her husband whips up incredible culinary creations. A luxurious dinner experience coming close to a Michelin ⭐️!

27/11/2024: Nice place in the center of the village overlooking Lake Ceresio. We had dinner in the room created from an old, carefully renovated cellar, very welcoming. The room is full of a large choice of high quality wine labels. The staff absolutely top notch. We ate very well.

05/01/2025: Prenotiamo in questo ristorante gia di nostra conoscenza, ci viene servito un aperitivo con bollicine e tartine di salmone (gratis)serata tranquilla tra un bicchiere di Barolo e un ottima Fiorentina servita su piastra di ghisa per ultimare la cottura, antipasto freschissimo con culatello di zimbello e dolce della casa, personale attento e premuroso locale tranquillo e pulito, prezzi in linea con la qualità insomma piacevole serata torneremo ancora per degustare altri piatti

12/12/2024: On our last night in Italy before dropping off our friend to the airport in Milan, we stayed in a small town, Gorla Minore and we were hungry around 12 AM trying to get some food. We had one restaurant in mind, but that one was closed so the only one nearby was this bar we went inside and not a single person spoke English luckily my friend knew Spanish that helped a little bit but still we’re mostly communicating through hand signals and pointing out things we wanted to eat they were very kind and sadly there’s not too much food yet. We still ate some donuts and they had some pizza and we even bought some chips that were on the side. The owners thought we were really hungry as we were, and they even gave us some free piece of bread with some meat some mayonnaise and some different assortment of veggies on top. They were very kind the owners and I greatly appreciate their kindness is a very good experience we had at Gorla Minore and even though we didn’t speak the same language, we’re still able to communicate. Have a good time together. Here’s a photo at the bottom that we took with the staff there were there and I would definitely recommend to go if you are in this small town as the people that work here are very friendly as well as the residence as well.

11/11/2024: The bar is nice and the sandwiches are delicious....managers very kind and available to requests for changes in food....the only local flaw is a little cold....the draft beer is very good to try..... recommended

24/01/2025: Sono entrata in questo locale perché avevo venti minuti di pausa tra due impegni. Ho ordinato un caffè un acqua e un toast che era solo da scaldare. Nonostante avessi fatto capire che non avevo troppo tempo la cameriera ha servito prima le uniche altre 5 persone che sono entrate dopo di me.. al momento di pagare scopro anche che i prezzi a listino sono tutti sbagliati.. ah e l’acqua non mi è mai stata servita. Mi spiace perché il locale è carino, ma un posto lo fanno le persone che ci lavorano non l’ambiente. E di sicuro non è un posto dove vedi attenzione per il cliente. Fortemente sconsigliato a meno che non abbiate un’ora da perdere con il locale vuoto.
