15/05/2025: Quiet, intimate, well-run place. I really liked this tavern in the village of Casalvieri in many ways. I give 10 cum laude to the appetizer I had called Vignarola: a mix of artichoke wedges, asparagus and courgettes, I think browned in a pan, with the addition of mint leaves for a taste and aroma that is now unusual to find, unless the meal is prepared in our homes. Followed by roast chicken with potatoes made as at home and a side of cooked wild vegetables. All very good and well cooked.

27/04/2025: Il bettoliere is an excellent restaurant which in addition to being surrounded by an enchanting mountainous backdrop... It offers a unique and sublime cuisine with unique and typical high quality dishes. Both the chef's ability to present the dishes in an enveloping way and all the support of the family are masterful, and thanks to their pure availability and full affability, we enter a purely human and welcoming dimension. We didn't feel like we were passing through on a trip at all, but we had the feeling of being an integral part of a lifestyle. Which I will carry as a model to imitate. 25/05/2025: Restaurant in the historic center of Frascati. We had lunch today for the first time. We were welcomed with courtesy, kindness and professionalism. Seafood dishes prepared with quality raw materials. Seafood appetizer, tagliolini allo scoglio and risotto with scampi cream, fried calamari and prawns cooked with skill. To finish a dessert of the house the fragolosa all accompanied by a good wine of Frascati Donnaluce Poggio Volpi recommended by the legendary Elvezio to whom we extend our special thanks for having welcomed us with professionalism and followed in all the choices Highly recommended 10 and praise Thanks see you soon Giovanni Teresa and Mariella

20/06/2025: Another tasteless tourist trap. Avoid at all cost. 8$ and tiny portion and gave me diarrhoea. Ordered the ragu+ tagliatelle. Absolutely disgusting.

18/06/2025: I ordered an Italian pasta dish and I really enjoyed it: it was al dente, with a tasty sauce and not at all heavy. The place has a quiet atmosphere, perfect for a leisurely lunch. The decor is simple but cozy and you can tell they keep everything clean. The service was excellent, very friendly and attentive without being intrusive. I thought it was a great option if you are looking for a good meal without any hassle.

02/07/2025: Quality has gradually dropped over the last two years. I'm very sorry because the pizza was really good. They have increasingly decreased the amount of ingredients put on the pizza. Prices have increased and the cover charge has increased.

27/06/2025: I came to this place with my husband and my dog. We were placed on the veranda in a quiet place and they also immediately brought us a bowl of water. Unfortunately there was neither air conditioning nor a fan and we suffered terribly from the heat. I recommend booking inside. For appetizers we had a very good summer montanara and a very good cod fillet. To follow a delicate pizza nerano 2 and a diavola iberica not spicy but really pleasant and balanced. If it were not for the unobtainable parking we would gladly return.

10/06/2025: Very unusual dishes that, as far as I know, are inherited from the original (Swedish) owners. Aside from the baked potatoes, presented in many variations, there are many other tasty and appetizing dishes. In addition, a good wine list is offered and, staying on the subject of beer, in addition to some craft beers, there is a good drinkable beer (which I won't name) that goes down beautifully

From the appetizer to the dessert everything is truly delicious. I recommend booking in advance because it is always full of reservations. Excellent quality/price

26/04/2025: This deserves 100 stars! The two chefs make the best duo. My friend was vegetarian and they instantly came up with an alternative for her that wasn’t on the menu which is something you rarely find in italy! The self made wine is quaffable😍 the self made pasta are cooked to perfection and the sauce they make is really the best one i‘ve had on my trip so far. The ambiente is lovely, with a nice crackling fire behind me and some light jazz playing in the background. 10/10 would recommend and come again!

16/06/2025: A terrace overlooking the sea and good service. Excellent pizzas, well-cooked first courses and plenty of them at a fair price-quality ratio. Total disappointment for the lentil soup…..a tasteless broth that did not live up to expectations…….

15/06/2025: We ate in this clean, cool restaurant, with kind and welcoming staff. Excellent pasta with amberjack, fried food and a sublime scarola. But also the other dishes offered on the menu are exceptional, the secret local fish, local products and masterfully cooked. Even the fruity white wine is a noteworthy sign together with the coffee. Never eaten so well...go there.
