01/04/2024: We had a very great time. The place speaks itself: a renaissance castle well kept. The service was great, and the menu explained in every detail. The quality of the food is high, and portions are balanced. It deserves more than a visit.

05/04/2024: The goodness of the dishes (quality meat, fresh fish, homemade pasta) and the friendliness of the dining room and kitchen staff are indescribable. The terrace overlooking the sea is a jewel. Absolutely among my favorite restaurants, well done!!

07/04/2024: Lately, I have noticed with regret that it is not clear that politeness and kindness are indicators of professionalism, if you decide to make hospitality an art (and also your profession). I don't dwell on what I ate (it can happen that something simply doesn't meet your tastes. After all, I've only been there once and my fellow diners ate well, they confirmed it to me) but on the ways in which we yes to us. At a certain point, when I asked "but why are you moving that table place for us? Was it comfortable for us?" The lady from the staff replies :"because it has to be comfortable for me, not for you". The only honorable mention goes to the trained sommelier and the only kind person in the place

03/02/2024: Delicious. We arrived outside of normal dining hours but the owner insisted we come in and eat. He fixed us traditional tagliatelle with ragu. It was so good.

19/12/2023: First time at Castagnolo with friends and it was a positive experience. Place with not too many tables, well looked after and clean and while waiting for the courses we were offered some balls of fried bread. My partner and I had a mixed grill and side dishes and had a good time. Meat cooked correctly and good. Also listening to the other table mates I would conclude by saying that at Castagnolo finally a menu with 5/6 choices per course which combine some classic dishes and some revisitations always with local products. We were happy and I think that maybe next spring we will return
