30/08/2024: Amazing Gelato place! Such a happy and friendly place! Amazing Gelato, my favourite being Crema Amalfitana. Highly recommend if you’re in Sorrento! We will be back for sure

25/08/2024: Ancient ice cream shop in the alleys of Sorrento, (not visible at first glance), but with a little attention you enter a slightly dated place, but at the same time in the tradition of Sorrento ice cream and granita. The lemon sorbet and limoncello flavored ice cream is excellent, but if you choose lemon instead of the cone it has an extra touch. In addition to the ice cream, we returned several times for the kindness of the staff and especially Michele. Compliments! I recommend stopping by for a refreshing break!

02/09/2024: I came because of the many good reviews and was unfortunately more than disappointed. I was brought my drinks: Aperol spritz was very weak.. I wanted sparkling water with it, what I got was "naturale", they didn't have water with more sparkling...mind you, there is a supermarket directly opposite.. I also got a bag of bread put on the table...without butter or anything... Others received chips and nuts with their drink. But probably the most disappointing thing was the “risotto” we ordered from the Daily Specials(!)... When I wanted to change the water, I noticed that the frozen packaging of a quick meal had just been opened: my "risotto". I would have liked to have gone there! It wasn't until I got back to the seat that I noticed the writing on the card: "frozen, if fresh not available". It's a daily recommendation and consists only of rice and mushrooms..What's not to have?! When it came, it was as expected: tasteless and loveless. There was some parsley and cheese thrown on top, but it was absolutely tasteless. And then they charge €13 for that?! Especially in Italy I expect a fresh risotte with a taste experience.. Absolute tourist trap!

12/08/2024: Amazing quality food with big portion sizes, very reasonable price too. We went twice during our stay and had the pizza, bolognese and meatballs - all were incredible. The staff are very attentive and friendly too. Definitely recommend eating here during your stay.

10/08/2024: Excellent food and service. The meatballs were some of the best we’ve ever had - a must get if you visit! The only slight downside was that we thoughts the meatballs were with pasta… they weren’t so weren’t totally full. However they were so nice it didn’t bother us too much!!

05/11/2024: Such a friendly and rich place! House made bread, red wine, and cheese are all great! ! ! A bottle of house wine is only 4€ and it tastes delicious😚 Grilled cheese eggplant 🍆 is great! ! The 700g steak is huge and filling. The roasted chicken is also great! In the end, I packed up a bunch of things and left (because there were too many, hahaha). Four people ate for 90€, which was a very good deal! ! Later I couldn’t help but buy two more bottles of red wine to take away🫶🏻 Recommended!

05/10/2024: We had a wonderful private tour today where we learned a lot about olives and lemons. It's a family business and that's how you feel there. You got to try all kinds of things in a fantastic place with a beautiful view. Unfortunately we arrived here on the plane without checked baggage, otherwise we would have bought out the store. Book a tour with her, you won't regret it.

09/08/2024: We’d spotted this place when wandering in the afternoon. In short, we would go back. My husband is a self proclaimed lasagne connoisseur and he said this was the best he had in Sorrento! I had squid ink ravioli. It was excellent: al dente and fresh! The thing to watch here is it’s busy, most people wait for a table and there doesn’t seem to be much of a system. The staff are pretty surly but when you are in (seated) they were friendly. If you’re after staff being chatty it’s not the place for you, if you just want your food, it’s great! Very reasonable prices too!

08/08/2024: L'atmosfera del locale é molto accogliente. Noi eravamo in compagnia della nostra cagnolina che é stata accolta dal personale con tante carezze. I camerieri ci hanno fatto accomodare e subito dopo aver preso la comanda é arrivato l'antipasto scelto: Burrata con datterini, davvero gustosa soprattutto i pomodorini. I fusilli avellinesi con tartare di ricciola al profumo di limone erano squisiti. Io ho chiesto di non mantecare gli gnocchi alla Sorrentina con il parmigiano e sono stata accontentata, perché i piatti vengono fatti al momento. Esperienza consigliatissima

09/11/2024: Somos asiáticos. Así que sabemos cómo se supone que sabe la buena comida japonesa. Su camarera / gerente era horrible en responder preguntas, como si estuviera molesto (para nada). Su pollo teppanyaki no era auténtico. Lo peor - - su plato de arroz cuesta la friolera de 7. 50 euros. Inaceptable. No es un restaurante de lujo ni un hotel de cinco estrellas, ¡para cobrar una cantidad tan exorbitante por arroz blanco!

09/11/2024: El servicio era bueno. La comida era mediocre. No pida la gyoza al vapor - - sin sabor. Tal vez el sushi hubiera sido una mejor opción.

24/07/2024: Amazing prices and lovely staff. I got food and sat down as well as some to go. Everything was amazing and delicious. Offers variety and doesn’t disappoint.

15/07/2024: Good enough, but tbh it didn’t ring all the bells to make it 5 stars. I’m not an expert on coffee in the area, but I have to assume this meets the average rating and doesn’t go much higher. Didn’t have the jovial neighborly vibe I was looking for. Will search on…

17/10/2023: We have been traveling through much of Italy and the only place where we have had bad food is here. We ordered a Risotto agli Agrumi for 18 euros and we found ourselves with boiled rice without any grace and when I say nothing it is nothing. Clearly the dish did not show even the slightest love for cooking. We also ordered a Sorrento Gnocchi which was good but nothing more. The problem is not the money spent but the experience, taking home a nice memory. In this case it was not so. I hope they can improve and contribute more by having such good local products.

09/10/2023: Posto molto semplice ma gradevole e accogliente, bello lo spazio fuori. Personale cordiale attento e gentile. Un pochino fuori rispetto alle vie centrali di Sorrento piene di locali per turisti ma comunque raggiungibile a piedi in pochi minuti da Piazza Tasso. Abbiamo preso crocchè, ravioli, gnocchi, risotto agli agrumi. Tutti piatti eccellenti. Segnalo anche la freschezza dell'insalata (aspetto non scontato). Dolci ottimi. Un grazie ai ristoratori. Continuate così.

21/08/2024: I have never been so ashamed to be called David! Tourist trap. According to the map there are 5 sizes. But only 4 are on display. The smallest cup is intentionally hidden. Service is underground. If you like being insulted by the owner, this is the perfect atmosphere. The owner ran out and insulted me because he thought I wrote a bad review. Unfortunately you can't give 0/5 stars. Absolutely not recommended.

01/12/2024: Loved those place the gelato is so fresh, creamy and so flavoursome! One of the best gelatos in sorrento and plenty of flavours to choose from and reasonably priced too
