01/05/2026: What a stroke of luck! We were standing in front of a closed restaurant on May 1st, hungry and thirsty. Antonio stopped and asked if we wanted something to eat. "Yes, please!" We got into his car and he drove us here!!! To paradise! This is the taste of Calabria! Freshly prepared with so much love by Graziella and served with warm discretion by Ottaviano. 13/02/2026: We went to this excellent osteria tonight on the recommendation of friends and I must say we were very satisfied. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming and the dishes were delicious, from appetizers to dessert. But the most pleasant thing were the two girls who looked after us throughout the evening. They were very kind and their dishes were excellent. They were friendly and super polite, very attentive to every detail, and I think it's more than rare to find this kind of staff without even good food. Overall, this osteria satisfied us in every way, even the owner was very nice and kind. We will definitely be returning. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

26/12/2025: After asking the owner if it was possible to have another glass of wine, he sat down next to my wife and I, saying, "You want a drink? Let's have a drink then," bringing a bottle of whiskey with him. He stayed there the whole evening, creepy, even charging us for the bottle of whiskey that he drank alone, and making obscene comments about all the women in the room. Never again.

17/09/2025: Someone seemed annoyed that guests arrived at around 2:30 p.m. even though three tables were still occupied. When we brought our food it was already clear that we were not welcome. The food was carelessly prepared; the bruschetta at the next table looked completely different. Spaghetti with mussels, four of which were not cooked. When we paid, they were also annoyed that we had to pay with a card. No thank you, no goodbye, and so on. The worst experience I've had in two weeks in Italy. So I have to add a comment five hours later. It's 8 p.m. and my wife is feeling very bad. She keeps throwing up. I hope she didn't catch anything from the mussels.

27/08/2025: ⸻ Disappointing: high-end restaurant prices but osteria-quality food I recently visited Locanda degli Antichi Sapori in Filadelfia, and unfortunately, I have to describe the experience as extremely negative. The place advertises itself as a high-end restaurant, but in reality, it turns out to be a simple osteria without the quality to justify the exorbitant prices. We ate outside, at tables positioned directly on the street, and even on a slope, with no provision for comfortable seating: an unacceptable detail for someone who charges like a high-end restaurant. The appetizers were the most disappointing: €16 for a dish made up of clearly supermarket-quality products, without any special preparation. The presentation was embarrassing, and the portions were meager. In short: nonexistent value for money, and the food offered was completely inadequate for the image the place wants to project. An experience not to be repeated, and not recommended to anyone seeking a modicum of consistency between price, service, and food quality.

18/08/2025: Tried this small and perhaps unique restaurant in Philadelphia for the first time. Cute and welcoming... The menu is short but carefully chosen, especially the first courses... Generous and delicious... Scialatielli with porcini mushrooms and pancetta, and Filejia with tomato, soppressata, and eggplant. 🔝 Recommended!
