27/09/2025: We dined outdoors in a very welcoming setting, amidst decorative lights and well-kept trees.
Everything was very clean and tidy;
the staff was helpful, professional, and attentive to customer requests;
very fast service.
The mixed fried appetizer was good, but could be improved; the pizza (4 different ones) was well-leavened with excellent quality ingredients;
the dessert: tiramisu and caramel cheesecake were truly delicious.
The yeast-raised weizen beer was very good.
The price was fair.
A beautiful and relaxing evening, worth repeating!!!
03/09/2025: The setting was really beautiful, with trees and lights. Being outdoors, despite the crowds, it was very quiet, which I appreciated. We ordered three pizzas to share, and each one was better than the last. I recommend the one with zucchini cream. We also ordered a mixed fried food, which was good, but I would have made it a little larger. The prices were fair! I recommend it.

13/09/2025: The quality of the food is unquestionable. The sandwich is exceptional, but adding a €4 cover charge to the bill is a rip-off because there's literally nothing there... no tablecloths, neither cloth nor paper, not even cutlery, just a knife that comes with the sandwich...
It's a shame, because that's exactly how you lose customers.

29/09/2025: I booked a table for two for lunch; they welcomed us and brought us some truly excellent and delicious appetizers while we waited. Next, we ordered a Tropea tartare appetizer (many compliments both for the quality of the meat and the truly excellent preparation) and omakase nigiri.
For our first course, we had a very special but, above all, rich and delicious carbonara.
Finally, we opted for a Prussian heifer and a Podolica tagliata, both with a side of baked potatoes and a bottle of Ciro' Rosso.
The fillet was truly tender and excellent, nothing more to say... simply excellent 🤩
I highly recommend this experience to everyone, at least once in their life 🥰
P.S. Attached are photos of the appetizers, the Tropea tartare, the omakase nigiri, and the Podolica tagliata.
27/07/2025: I'm a Wagyu beef producer. This customer ordered €1,700 worth of meat. After delivery, he was the one who initially responded to my messages: he told me the meat was excellent and that he wanted to collaborate further, and he was already placing a second order. I said, "Pay me the first order first." From then on, he kept saying over the phone or via WhatsApp, "I'll pay you now, send me the invoice again, so I can sort it out..." but nothing! Just lies!
I strongly advise all suppliers to be very careful.

03/07/2025: Kind and helpful...the first day. Then incorrect or incompetent?
We stop for information and have an aperitif: excellent local wine, 7 euros a glass served with crisps and taralli
The water in front of the gravel beach is crystal clear
The bathroom is clean and complete with toilet paper
Showers for 20 cents, enough salt to rinse off for 2 people
Second day: umbrella and 2 sunbeds in the third row 20 euros
The same aperitif: 2 glasses of wine, served without any accompaniment and they also make us pay for the cover charge, even though we are also guests of the beach. I have no words
01/07/2025: The bartender is rude, prices products based on the nationality of the buyer. Weak drinks. I do not recommend. There are better places in the area.

29/08/2025: I could call it a singles pizzeria, in the sense that the wait time is already infinite. They only serve a maximum of three pizzas per batch... but I'll never understand (I wanted to give it a second chance, but unfortunately the same thing happened) why out of three pizzas that come out, one is brought out randomly to each table... basically, a table of six people gets a pizza every 10 minutes or so... a rule that also applies to other tables.
That is, a table of six will never eat everything at the same time... and if you ask, there's always a problem.
Which is not good in a restaurant setting.
I don't understand the point of having one pizza per table. Orders are made in order with all the pizzas at that table.
The pizza is certainly good, but the pizza chef and the service need to coordinate and perhaps manage the orders better.
18/08/2025: We waited 1 hour and 40 minutes for pizzas that never arrived. Meanwhile, the waitress offered us an appetizer to pass the time (which arrived after 30 minutes), which was also late.
After asking for updates on the pizzas, we were told they were being prepared, but nothing ever arrived. At that point, we headed to the cashier to pay, and incredibly, the staff wanted to charge us for the pizzas that were never served.
Unacceptable behavior, both in terms of the management of the service and the lack of respect towards customers. We won't be returning.

12/10/2025: Horrible experience. We went for dinner and were very hungry, we were said we have to wait for pizza for about 30 mins, so we decided to order fries to eat smthg before the pizzas will be ready. The fries came after the pizza, we said we don’t want them anymore since it’s already too late and asked to cut the pizza into slices. The blond waiter said that fries are already prepared and she will not take them back, and in this case to cut pizza will take her 10 mins ( she knew we were waiting for the order more than 30 mins, and we are hungry and we would just eat those fries). This looked really ugly and she spoiled the mood to all of us. At the bar after complaints they removed the fries from the bill, but there was a big bottle of water on the bill that they put on the table without even asking us ( we didn’t order). They spoiled our evening.
19/09/2025: Stunning location, with a wonderful sea view. I had a truly wonderful dinner, immersed in a serene and relaxing atmosphere. The pizza was truly excellent, the service was quick, and the waiters were kind and efficient. Nothing to complain about, an experience that tastes of Reggio and the sea.
P.S. If you find a knife in the plant, it's mine ❤️

12/07/2025: The fries were disappointing overall. Many were soggy or dripping with oil.
Additionally, there was very little ketchup, even though it was charged an extra €0.50 without us being informed of the surcharge beforehand. This simply wasn't justified for the price – overall, the whole thing was significantly overpriced for the quality offered.
To make matters worse, I was charged €1 too much, which the seller didn't point out, even though we asked.
Ultimately, we didn't like the taste of the fries so much that we threw them away. Unfortunately, a very disappointing experience.
01/06/2025: A fry shop... Not much to say, maybe just that you don't leave there with the smell of fried food on you, that Amsterdam is in Holland and they use the Belgian method for frying (the best)... Overall excellent.

20/07/2025: Il posto è decisamente peggiorato, e già avevo dubbi prima. La granita, davvero nulla di che (a me è arrivata ghiacciata) viene proposta addirittura a 5 euro. Prezzo milanese, ma a bassissima qualità. Hanno fatto un parcheggio sterrato, con ogni probabilità illegale.
Posto da evitare a ogni costo, qualsiasi granita dei dintorni è molto meglio e costa la metà.
davvero incomprensibile perché la gente ci vada. Gli abitanti del paese comunque, ovviamente, la disertano.
20/07/2025: Posto consigliato da amici. Era da un pò che cercavo un locale dove gustarmi una buona granita fatta proprio come la fanno a Messina: l'ho trovato! Questo locale sicuramente farà buone anche altre cose perchè ho visto la vetrinetta ed i gelati, tutti invitanti. Io lo consiglio però per quello che ho assaggiato: una granita eccezionale ad un prezzo onesto. Per me la granita è al caffè con panna però mia figlia l'ha presa alla fragola e si è leccata il fondo del bicchiere. Davvero bravi!
Ampio dehor e grande parcheggio interno.
Se passate da quelle parti fate un salto, non ve ne pentirete!

29/06/2025: Tutto buonissimo..cucinato con amore e cura... In sala c'era una sola ragazza, cordiale, dolce, disponibile, paziente anche con i bambini e simpatica ...
Non so che altro dire se non un posto "di casa" dove poter tornare/mangiare tutti i giorni. P.S. i bambini hanno leccato il piatto

31/05/2025: Abbiamo provato la torta gelato, i gelatini (ne fanno di tantissimi gusti) e i gelati. Vastissimo assortimento di gusti.
Ingredienti di qualità. Consigliato gusto tartufo, zuppetta. Crema reggina davvero spaziale! Prezzi estremamente concorrenziali. Personale molto professionale, accogliente e gentile. Assolutamente da consigliare!
03/05/2025: Ho gustato solo la granita ma era buona e abbondante. Ottima anche la panna. Una granita con panna 3,3€. La sera dei festivi c’è sempre la fila.

18/03/2025: Ci siamo trovati a Cittanova dopo la solita visita annuale ai parenti di Gioia Tauro.
Dopo aver passeggiato per le vie del paese abbiamo fatto un aperitivo in un bar del paese e dopo aver chiesto dove avremmo potuto pranzare ci è stato indicato questo ristorante che a quanto pare è aperto a pranzo solo la Domenica.
Arrivati sul posto i miei dubbi sono divenuti realtà, locale gremito di gente, tavoli praticamente attaccati tra loro (quasi potevamo ascoltare i dialoghi dei commensali a fianco a noi).
Arriva il momento di ordinare e il responsabile di sala ci consiglia un vino rosso in bottiglia della zona che si è rivelato davvero ottimo.
Antipasto scarno, nulla di speciale o ricercato.
Primi piatti davvero imbarazzanti, salsa di zucca slegata e poco saporita (tengo a precisare che ci è stato consigliato il tutto dal responsabile di sala).
Secondo piatto ottimo, un'ottima costata servita su pietra, carne ottima, saporita e tenera.
Il servizio sembrava perlopiù svogliato e/o stanco, tengo a precisare che non erano le 15:00 ma ancora 13:00.
Il conto finale è stato congruo con quello che abbiamo preso.
Sono rimasto stupito dal fatto che non è stato possibile avere una Fanta, a parte l'acqua, il vino, la birra e la coca-cola non erano presenti altri tipi di bevande.
A detta di uno dei collaboratori la pizzeria non effettua il servizio a pranzo e perciò si è obbligati a servirsi della cucina.
Mi ha colpito in particolare uno dei collaboratori: alto, capelli lunghi e raccolti. Preparato e sorridente, veloce, cordiale ed esaustivo nel descrivere i piatti che stava servendoci, ci ha fatti sentire come a casa nostra. Amari e caffè offerti dalla casa.
Si potrebbe migliorare sul piano dolci che sono ormai i classici dei classici.
Credo che ritornerò durante il periodo estivo per provare la pizza ma non più la cucina.
