29/05/2024: La piazza è un ristorante ubicato al Centro della città di Locri e sulla via principale. Rosa e sorella Marisa sono l’anima di questo punto di ristoro. La prima cosa che appare è la calorosa accoglienza e ti senti come a casa tua. Gustosissimi i primi di Pasta sempre al dente. Ottimi secondi di pesce o carne con contorno di insalata verde o rossa del giorno. Per i palati più coraggiosi consiglio il primo di pasta “ corte d’assise” con peperoncino. Ho fatto da Guida a un gruppo numeroso di studenti di scuola media e tutto è andato bene. Il Ristorante La Piazza ha superato l’esame del gusto a pieni voti.

31/08/2024: Traditional cuisine revisited with flair and elegance. We stayed in the area for a week and after having dinner at the Cocintum inn we never changed location again. The appetizers accompanied by jams produced by the company itself are delicious; delicious potato gnocchi with cuttlefish ink; the capocollo is touching (very tender and tasty); without neglecting the fish tempura. The inn is a rustic, welcoming and silent environment. Fast and courteous service. Congratulations to all the staff. We will be back.
31/08/2024: Very good dishes, of a decidedly higher quality than the average of the places in the area. The place is very nice and the service is fast and friendly.

21/08/2024: Most likely ancient and family-run restaurant. The staff was really friendly, so much so that they offered us coffee, which is not to be taken for granted and should not be expected! At lunch there is no pizzeria service. We took the stockfish meatballs and fritters, some linguine with stockfish, a pork chop and chips. 2 cocacolas and 1l natural. All €32 cover charge included. The value for money is honest. You can't complain... the only advice is to reduce the salt! Congratulations to the staff!

04/08/2024: Absolutely to avoid if you are looking for a gluten free pizza as the place advertises a gluten free pizza that seems real Neapolitan and very good while in the end it is a ready made base stuffed not even very well. Normal Neapolitan pizza, on the other hand, at least in appearance, seems good.

15/08/2024: We were in the gazebo and there was only one fan away from us. We all died of heat! We couldn't enjoy the evening because we were dripping with sweat. Terrible swordfish sandwich!!!
Tip: buy and have more fans!!
14/08/2024: Fried appetizers and good pizza, but we had to escape without even having coffee because we would have sweated less in the sauna.
Honestly they should have put at least some fans (not one) in the covered outdoor area where the heat was impressive.
I'm not exaggerating, unbearable.

20/08/2024: I will start with the positive reviews of this restaurant.
The very pleasant welcome and the quite charming place. A large car park for easy parking until then everything is fine.
This then makes it worse. We ordered some antipasti, drinks, then the dishes. I'll keep it short: drinks not served, but no explanation given, an endless wait between each course and some not even served at all. We pointed this out to the servers but no commercial gesture was offered.
A service definitely worth reviewing.
A disappointing experience for us, which is a shame given the positive opinions we have heard and read.
19/08/2024: Staff not very qualified and not attentive to the needs of the customers, orders taken incorrectly, waiting for two hours and not even an apology. Too bad the service was terrible, on the other hand the food was bad. the kitchen and the pizza chef were excellent

06/08/2024: Great experience overall. A nice evening with friends. The quality of the raw materials could be felt in the mouth with the hamburger meat which everyone described as tasty and succulent. I tried the piadina and it was very good. Recommended if you want to experience an evening in the pub!
21/07/2024: We were 3 people all with different tastes...... they served us delicacies quickly.....
We had already been last summer and they had satisfied us even though we had asked for a dish not included in the menu.

28/08/2024: The location is very simple, on the other hand it is easy to reach, the food is nothing exceptional, but the really annoying thing is the staff who insistently tries to recommend this or that just to get you to take other dishes
24/08/2024: Good starters, just enough fish main courses didn't excite me, especially the fried fish and the swordfish which I didn't find to have a good flavor or consistency. The service was friendly with a bit of a wait. Beautiful location with sea view.
