The hot and cold appetizers are plentiful and well-stocked, as is the selection of first courses, all carefully prepared. Prices are reasonable and accessible, considering the quality of the dishes. The real icing on the cake is the spectacular view of Falerna Marina, which makes the experience even more enjoyable. Ideal for a delicious lunch or dinner immersed in a traditional and relaxing atmosphere.

20/04/2025: Very good pizza, panzerotto a little dry and focaccia too. Unfortunately for the employee who served us, she didn't even know what was inside what I was asking for and had little desire to explain, in fact the panzerotto told me it was ham, cheese and tomato, but instead it only had cheese and ham.

26/07/2025: When we entered, a record player was playing jazz. It was beautiful. The owner cooked just for the two of us, and we were warmly welcomed. Everything was fish: appetizer, first course, and second course, with water and rosé wine. The portions were more than generous. The place is a bit old-fashioned, but for everything else, including the friendliness, it's a 10/10. Thank you.

08/09/2025: A perfect evening in a truly refined lounge bar and restaurant. The atmosphere is relaxing and meticulously maintained, with attentive service and a staff that's always friendly and helpful. We enjoyed a delicious seafood and mountain appetizer, accompanied by excellent drinks. The quality, cleanliness, and courtesy were top-notch. It's one of those places you instantly want to return to!

23/09/2025: Gardenia is a place my family, a few friends, and I have been frequenting for many years. The renovation has added flair and elegance, and the food and pizzas are always top-notch. The owner and staff are young, talented, and enthusiastic, always respectful and attentive to their customers. I couldn't choose anywhere else in the area, and perhaps even a little further afield. Highly recommended.

23/08/2025: Extremely long wait times. We left without dinner, even the kids who had been waiting for pizza for about two hours. The owner was very rude. After asking us to pay for what we had eaten (three portions of fries for 10), he insulted me and my friends, calling us rude, and sent us away without charging us for our order. After a subsequent confrontation, he changed his version of events.

05/10/2025: It's a reasonably well-stocked bar/deli/self-service restaurant... its service is a bit lacking, appearing rather disorganized and inadequate (especially at the self-service). The rustici, for example, were served cold and practically inedible... I hope it was just a problem that day! The food, including the desserts, is good, as are the desserts we tried. Prices are reasonable, and parking is easy!

30/09/2025: Beautiful bar but a slice of tart that wasn't even 40g 3.50 in my opinion is not normal I will never buy anything from there again in my life

12/06/2025: A place with a great view of the port. Friendly and professional waiters. Spaghetti with anchovies, truly the best. Maybe the grilled vegetables could be a little less soft. Prices a little above the local average but acceptable

10/06/2025: The restaurant is located in front of the port of Catanzaro, not too characteristic considering the area seems more for conventions. In itself elegant and chic the restaurant also maintains a fairly high style in the dishes. We are a group, some take the raw fish, some take the octopus, some take the tuna steak, the cooked appetizer. The fish is fresh, beautiful to look at, good to taste. The parsley potatoes for their apparent simplicity are exquisite. With wine, some fruit and coffee we spend about €40 per person, average prices. Service a bit slow, but the guys are polite and courteous.

23/09/2025: Coffee was ok, but the Granita was 5€ for a mid-sized cup and wasn’t anything special either. Felt ripped off at first but it’s the actual price. Haven’t seen granita this expensive in 5 weeks of cycling around Italy. :)
