I've been coming here for 9 years because I can't find better ice cream than this ice cream shop.

11/09/2024: In un locale piccolo e seminascosto Gerardina produce il miglior gelato del golfo di Squillace. Non è un'esagerazione. Provare per credere. Il gelato artigianale è frutto della qualità dei prodotti e della passione con cui Gerardina prepara i suoi gusti. Da non mancare sulla SS106 jonica tra Sant'Andrea e Isca.

I would recommend dividing the tables into tables of 4 rather than 6, as there is a risk of having a couple occupy a table of 6/8 people. We will definitely return.

The environment presents itself as formal radical chic, but the entertainment and music make the context altogether more welcoming and informal. The view of the port of CZ lido is beautiful. 01/01/2025: Reunion with old friends and we choose this place near the seafront of Catanzaro Lido (port area). Easy to reach with the possibility of parking nearby. It consists of an internal room and an "external" veranda with a very pleasant and elegant environment. Menu based exclusively on FRESH fish based on the availability of the catch. The fabric mise en place and the table service are beautiful, the wait staff is very kind. Well presented and tasty dishes. The dessert part needs to be improved. The only flaw is the rude customers who smoke electronic cigarettes in the room to the detriment of the other diners. I recommend greater attention to the waiters and the restaurant manager. More than honest account.

04/02/2025: È molto raro fermarsi a una stazione di servizio e trovare un livello elevato di qualità e salubrità di cibo, ordine, igiene, organizzazione, “filosofia del lavoro” (da una serie di piccoli dettagli), cortesia ed efficienza del personale, come in questa mia casuale e fortunata sosta.

04/02/2025: Mi sono fermato per caso rientrando da un viaggio di lavoro nella stazione di servizio dove si trova il ristorante e sono rimasto sorpreso dall’eccellente rapporto qualità/presso dei cibi serviti, nonché dalla loro genuinità e salubrità’, dalla cortesia ed effienza del personale, dalla buona organizzazione e dalla “filosofia del lavoro” che traspare da diversi piccoli dettagli. Scrivo questa recensione per la seconda volta per un problema tecnico che non mi fa ritrovare la precedente.

15/02/2025: The food was great, the price wasn't exactly reasonable. Unfortunately, the experience was ruined when the waiter brought a bottle that, as you can see from the photo, was dirty with bird droppings. Clearly, in a situation like this, it is inevitable to question the hygienic conditions. Having pointed out the problem, in addition to a generic apology for a truly absurd episode and the simple replacement of the bottle, no reduction was offered on the total price, not even on the cost of the bottle itself. Totally unacceptable.

01/12/2024: Visiting the small village of Martirano and finishing the visit with a nice dinner based on fresh fish expertly cooked by Toto and his son Gianluca is a joy for the eyes and the palate. We will return often!!

08/12/2024: Pranzato con colleghi giovedì 5 dicembre. Presa una tagliata con funghi porcini ed un'insalata per contorno, mentre i colleghi prendono della pasta alla 'nduja. Carne buona e funghi davvero squisiti. Servizio davvero cortese e disponibile. Tornerei volentieri per provare altre proposte.

09/09/2024: Una bella scoperta nel verde di Decollatura, un ristorante di eccellente qualità dal cibo buonissimo presentato elegante e con garbo da personale giovane e attento alle esigenze dei commensali , Anche la location immersa nel verde di alberi maestosi milto bella . Da ritornarci ,complimenti
