08/03/2026: Great restaurant! We ate well, received a warm welcome, the pizzas were excellent, and the tiramisu was incredible!! The prices are very reasonable, which is quite rare these days, so it's worth mentioning. Thank you! 🤩
⚠️ Reservations are highly recommended: there were two of us without a reservation at 12:30 pm, and we got a table inside, but almost all the tables, both inside and outside, were reserved.
04/03/2026: Remember to book ahead, the restaurant is often full. Communicating in French on the phone is no problem.

16/04/2026: Truly the best coffee I've ever had, the Maison coffee. The cream croissant was spectacular. They also have vegan pastries available. The waiter was incredibly friendly.
16/04/2026: This chocolate shop is highly recommended. The quality is excellent, and the young man who served us was very friendly.

08/04/2026: Wednesday, April 8, 2026. I arrive early, at 11:30 a.m. I didn't make a reservation, and I know this place is popular... and deservedly so. Table 23... The view is splendid. Sheltered from the wind on the well-stocked terrace, everything is perfect. The staff is incredibly attentive; they speak excellent French, while my Italian is pitiful. I already don't want to leave. A nice cold Italian beer, my favorite dish (polenta with cheese and game—it's the end of the season, game might be a little scarce, but it doesn't matter). How I'd missed this dish. How I'd missed this place. An espresso, of course. €36. Time to leave, but my heart will stay here until next year (I hope). Forza Italia; even if it's volleyball...

08/04/2026: We received a very poor welcome. The staff were not at all friendly: no smiles, no warmth whatsoever. It really felt like they were only there for the money.
We were barely seated before being given time to sit down or even look at the menu at our leisure. You practically had to know what you wanted to order before you even arrived. The dishes arrived in minutes, which only reinforced this feeling of being rushed.
As soon as someone finished their plate, it was immediately cleared away, and we were offered dessert right away, without waiting for everyone to finish eating. Everything was rushed, making it impossible to enjoy the experience.
The only positive points were the pleasant setting and the decent food.

07/01/2026: A truly positive experience. We were warmly welcomed by the owner couple, who are truly kind, helpful, and attentive.
The breakfast is simple but offers little homemade gems, like their wonderful yogurt, which is truly special.
The rooms are comfortable and well-kept.
The only small flaw is the location, a bit uphill from the center of La Thuile, but this is easily solved thanks to the shuttle service that passes very close by and is really convenient.

08/04/2026: The music was dreadfully loud and not even when you shouted could you be heard. No shade was provided and there were cigarette butts and dog poo all over the snow. The burger meat was disgusting and although the pizza was good the toppings fell off and the orange juice did not taste like orange juice.
The Roxy bar & restaurant nearby is much better
29/03/2026: I never miss a chance to stop by for a good Italian beer. The welcome is always very warm. We've considerably expanded our collection of pure wool hats, lovingly knitted by a "cousin from the Aosta Valley" on behalf of Christian.
Matteo: Charlie Adam's paintings are magnificent.
Looking forward to seeing you again soon for a good meal.

17/12/2025: We're still waiting for a repeatedly requested bill. The food was decent, the service was quite poor, and it was absurd to leave a three-year-old's plate for last. It's normal for there to be a lot of people on a Saturday night, but it's not normal to treat them like this. It's a shame because overall the food was good.
07/12/2025: We stopped for lunch; a friendly young man greeted us. The owner then arrived, helped with the service, and offered us coffee and a digestif. Only afterward was it explained to us that they were supposed to be closed. Excellent food and a lovely atmosphere.

26/03/2026: The restaurant simply doesn't match the quality/price ratio - it seems the only cook on duty is the microwave. We didn't like the quality of the reheated dishes...
It's a shame about the restaurant with a beautiful view of Mont Blanc...
20/03/2026: Restaurant next to the eggs, a little set back but with a lovely south-facing terrace and a very nice view inside to the north… excellent cuisine, nothing to complain about, and service up to par!
