03/03/2026: A truly charming place, perfectly in keeping with the surrounding atmosphere. We immediately felt welcomed by the super kind and attentive waitress, who recommended we start with the tasting menu (we chose the traditional one) and then add more if desired.
It was the best choice: every dish, from first to last, was a wonderful discovery of authentic, well-presented local flavors. You can sense the care taken in the preparation and the attention to the quality of the ingredients.
If you're passing through, a stop here for lunch is highly recommended!
11/01/2026: On December 8th, returning from two days of skiing, we stopped for lunch at this very cute but somewhat hidden little place. We called in the morning and luckily found a table.
There were seven of us, four adults and three children, plus two dogs, one of whom had walking difficulties.
We went in, and when the woman noticed the dog's difficulty, she moved our table and put us in a more comfortable position, a truly kind gesture.
We ordered a house tomino, a crepe, two portions of polenta concia, and a smooth one with a trio of meats.
House wine and water were provided as drinks.
The portions were more than adequate, everything was very good, with a special mention for the polenta concia and the meats.
We finished with two desserts, two coffees, and a grappa, kindly offered.
For a bill of €159.
In conclusion, a more than pleasant place with good food and service, worth returning if we're on the road.

04/03/2026: I'm a truck driver, I'm often at home but sometimes I have to stay out. If I'm in the area, I'm happy to stop by. Excellent food, very kind and friendly staff, I highly recommend it to anyone passing through the area.

A place with a large party room.
Highly recommended for aperitifs, dinner, and even a delicious Sunday family lunch.

I also recommend it for a pizza or a simple but authentic lunch/dinner.

09/09/2025: The food is okay, but nothing special. The night we went for dinner, there was only the owner serving, so service was a bit slow. The atmosphere is like that of a tavern. The bill was good.
18/08/2025: A modest but quaint and well-maintained restaurant. The menu offers a wide selection and the food is excellent. The ingredients are excellent, and the prices are absolutely fair for what's on the menu.

23/01/2026: Unfortunately, I can't give it less than one star. I've been traveling for work for over 20 years and I've never encountered staff who turn away customers because they don't have time to serve everyone! Despite the empty tables! Crazy, I don't recommend it.

25/04/2025: L ambiente è carino e accogliente. Appena siamo entrati ci hanno accolto e abbiamo preso un aperitivo prima della cena.
Il personale è stato molto gentile e simpatico
Abbiamo ordinato dei piatti tipici (gnocchi con fonduta e noci, tagliatelle al ragù di lepre e un filetto alla valdostana) che erano veramente saporiti e gustosi. Alla fine abbiamo preso anche i dolci che erano buoni.
Sicuramente se avremo occasione torneremo a mangiare qui perché ci siamo trovati veramente bene
03/03/2025: Locale caratteristico, il giovane ragazzo cameriere gentile ed educato. Questione menù e offerta... leggendo le recensioni mi ero illusa... purtroppo la realtà a gran dispiacere è un'altra: ogni piatto è overcharged e tanto, considerando la qualità purtroppo. Pagare un tagliere di salumi dove l'unica cosa apprezzata è stata il lardo, gli altri salumi totalmente anonimi e scarichi di sapore (e pensare che siamo in montagna con delle eccellenze locali), pagarla 17€. Buoni invece i formaggi ma, anche li, 17-18€ per prodotti che in teoria sono a km 0... too much. La pizza purtroppo non era per niente cotta (sia la base della pizza che il bordo). Trovate in montagna spaghetti con le vongole (tipiche le vongole di Châtillon) dove non avevano profumo, né sapore e asciutte (si sentiva lontanamente l'odore di aglio e olio)... Ma perché? Con tutte le eccellenze locali? Perché il sovrapprezzo così alto per una non eccellenza dei prodotti? Avete questa sala sulle scale con le travi a vista, rustico, al centro... è un vero peccato. C'è forse da cambiare qualcosa I'm cucina, dai prodotti alla mano del cuoco. Bisogna investire sulle materie prime prima di tutto, siete in una area bellissima, vi basta pochissimo!
