16/02/2025: Locale datato, cibo accettabile.ma servizio pessimo. Abbiamo mangiato la raclette e la pierrade con buon rapporto qualità/prezzo ma vini improponibili: niente al di sotto dei 30 euro. Locale fumoso e con tavoli tutti attaccati. Camerieri scortesi

31/01/2025: We really enjoyed our dining experience here. The food was great, we all ate raclette and were offered more of everything when the pickles, bread, cheese and meat ran low. It was quiet whilst we were in Champoluc this week so not much of an atmosphere anywhere, nothing to do with this particular restaurant. Milton who served us was excellent and as the restaurant was quiet, had lots of time for us and we enjoyed chatting with him. Good luck to him in his aspirations.

18/01/2025: Weekend sulle piste di Monterosaski ci fermiamo per caso in questo rifugio : scelta azzeccata. Interno molto bello e curato, servizio ottimo tutti molto disponibili e gentili. Abbiamo assaggiato una zuppa valdostana e una polenta con gulash; polenta da urlo, gulash molto gustoso e tenero; alla zuppa forse mancava un po di "spinta", ma buona. Carta dei vini molto ampia. Ottimo da provare!!

05/03/2025: Had a delicious meal last night and very friendly service. As usual in Italy, reservations (can be made a few hours in advance) are recommended. Delicious fresh local products.

16/02/2025: This place is amazing! Family place and family run. Very authentic, nice people, and delicious food. Fairly priced too. Had the bruschetta, gnocchi with pesto, tagliatelle with ragu and all were very good. Will be coming back!

07/02/2025: Had a very good gluten free Burrata pizza. The service was quick and attentive, we had good wine in the glass and an overall brilliant experience.

23/01/2025: We visited the restaurant on Wed. We were looking for a nice and cosy place to eat at the end of the day. The place IS cosy and has its own charm. Very clean. Was busy, which means the locals appreciate the quality of food that is served in the restaurant. In relation to food, it was tasty, but pricy.The presentation on the plate was excellent, the portions though were little.

05/02/2025: Don’t waste your time or your money here! One of the ‘specialities’ of the day, gnocchi made with chestnut flour, were served up cold and the dish came so quickly it must have already been cooked and was then insufficiently microwaved. We were seated in a corner between a wall and cupboard and the room doens’t look a bit like the photo. The red wine by the glass was poor and certainly not worth 9 euros, it is better and cheaper in the mountain restaurants! This was a place pretending to be something it wasn’t - a lot of money for what it was at 80 euros for a plate of gnocchi, what could only be called a large ramekin of melanzane parmigiana, 2 desserts from the fridge and 2 glasses of wine.

04/02/2025: We ate well, but the waiter proposed a second course off the menu and another to replace the trout which was finished. We chose the two options proposed. It would have been pleasant and more respectful towards us customers to have an indication of the prices of what was offered.

01/02/2025: An extraordinary place, facing the highest famous peaks in Europe: the view is exceptional, it is a calm place filled with serenity. The staff is just exceptional, especially Stéphanie at reception, Etoré at service and Iris for massages, but all the staff are available, attentive and very professional. Our stays are always short, in summer and winter, but each time it is a magnificent experience.

27/01/2025: What a lovely holiday we had at the Hotellerie De Mascognaz. We were there or a January weekend with friends and had the most wonderful time in this snowy paradise. Rooms: lovely rustic wood rooms with character and charm - each room was cozy and warm and had unique features - our room had a cushioned filled reading nook. Our friends room had stone stairs leading to a loft area. decorated tastefully with lots of textures and earthy colours - it was so inviting and comfortable. bathrooms were open for our room and tall hubby had a bit of a challenge in the shower under the roof slope hence baths were in order. bathroom had expected amenities (toothbrush, shower caps, bathrobes, slippers, etc). Food: excellent food at the restaurant - we had some traditional pasta dishes and cheese dishes for lunches and enjoyed the richness and flavours. our dinner table was an old stone milling wheel! We sat on the winter balcony and enjoyed the views overlooking their little valley. Service: pick up from the car park was via a snowcat, one for our luggage and one for 6x guests - 20 min ride up the mountain which was a fun experience, service was excellent from reception to checkout, nothing left wanting, lovely wait staff and bartenders, and lovely room staff helpful and brought you extra towels or anything else you needed. Spa is nicely done with a warm pool and jacuzzi and a sauna room. Not huge but more than sufficient for the hotel size. They also have robes and slippers there too so no need to lug from your room. Hard to believe its classified as 4* as this was a really lovely hotel and staff. The rooms are in different buildings hence you have to walk outside to get to the spa or dinner - bring grippy boots. Once you get your head around that, its really a good experience too see the area. on a beautiful day, you will also hikers and their dogs also walk through the hotel ‘village’ too.

04/02/2025: Ambiente e personale molto accogliente. Portate deliziose, in particolare il piatto del giorno (Tartiflette) e il secondo (Carbonade di vitello con polenta). Piccola nota, la presentazione degli antipasti poteva essere più curata ma il sapore era indiscutibilmente buono. Speriamo di tornare :)

21/02/2025: Slightly secluded position on the slopes of Champoluc, an added value for a restaurant with breathtaking views but above all where you can eat very well. Good food, excellent wines, nice atmosphere between friendliness, friendliness and professionalism. Don't miss it!
