07/03/2026: We recently ate at L’essentiel and the food was delicious including the trout starte, onion soup etc. all exceptional. But more importantly, the management and personnel are accommodating and so thoughtful. They had steak off the menu and it had finished so they promised to order some for us on our next visit. Truly caring. We highly recommend

06/03/2026: Whatever you do don’t eat at this restaurant. They serve uncooked pork. We sent it out twice showing them that the meat was cold and uncooked without any improvement. Then we finally gave up and asked for the bill and they charged us full price…..

17/03/2026: The only thing about this place is the view. The service was awful with a waiter who doesn’t even managed to get to your table. Instead shouting at you from the terrace above.

23/02/2026: We really enjoyed our stay. The employee Ettore was always very friendly and helpful.

02/06/2026: Bad experience at this place. Slow and sloppy service, terrible quality of ingredients, and very poor quality of preparation. Everything is frozen and ready-made, and they just have to assemble it. They make you wait an hour and a half and charge you as if it were homemade! I won't be returning and I don't recommend it.

02/06/2026: Terrible! We went the other afternoon for a quick gelato. 3 euros for a tiny cup, they made us get a receipt and wait in the overly hot restaurant, when the flavors, already few, were either gone or at the bottom. Scraping the bottom, they put two tiny scoops of gelato in it, which tasted like mixes and syrups.

06/04/2026: After a spectacular Christmas Eve, Easter at Oetit Aprince was also a highlight. It's always nice to return... Kindness and hospitality reign supreme. See you next time.

27/03/2026: I only slept one night. I was given room 204, which I booked on Booking. I barely slept a wink because of the uncomfortable bed. It was two small beds joined together instead of slats, two rigid wooden planks, and an 8 cm thick mattress, probably from the 1980s. I may not care about the furnishings, but at least I need a decent bed. After my complaint, the lady justified herself by saying they'll have to renovate, and I pointed out that buying a bed base and mattress doesn't require renovation. Anyway, it was a terrible room.

03/01/2026: I had booked a week in advance, specifically requesting three gluten-free pizzas. When we arrived at the restaurant, we asked for gluten-free pizzas and were told they'd run out without notifying us, so we ended up having fries for dinner. The waiters also seemed annoyed that we'd complained a bit.

19/04/2026: I miss the previous Sardinian owners. With the change of management, the cuisine isn't the same anymore. I don't know about the pizza, but the food service isn't quite up to a 6.

05/04/2026: Absolutely amazing cozy family place. With quick service and joyful experience! Lie. The Italian style…you ask for a glass of wine - they bring you a 0,5 L carafe 😂😂😂 Definitely be back and highly recommend!!

03/04/2026: If you're in the area, you absolutely must visit this restaurant. Delicious food, homemade Italian specialties that linger for a long time. Delicious pizza in various versions, as well as other delicacies. Delicious cuisine is very important, but also a wonderful, homey atmosphere is crucial here. The service is fantastic and friendly, like being at home. The interior is beautiful, and the oven bakes delicious pizza. A great place! I wholeheartedly recommend it!

26/10/2025: Excellent food; we tried the platter, the tagliatelle with venison ragù, and the polenta with venison cheek—all truly authentic. The view is breathtaking, and the owner is hospitable. A glass of Chardon is also highly recommended.

24/08/2025: Excellent food!!! Everything is homemade, even the bread! Courtesy and a great location. Definitely worth a try and a return visit.

25/01/2026: We stopped here after a hike and had a slice of amazing cake with their homemade whipped cream. I've never tasted anything better! Stop by and have a nice snack. It's worth it.

29/08/2025: A warm and attentive welcome, a splendid location with a view of the Ayace Valley, and food focused on Aosta Valley specialties, all delicious. We returned to complete our samplings. Aosta Valley soup, crespelle, porcini mushroom soup, onion soup...and then the desserts, with whipped cream made with their own milk. Highly recommended!

20/02/2026: We went to this beautiful hotel for lunch on Friday because the ski lifts were closed, so not knowing what to do we went for lunch without booking, the welcome was very friendly and the service was fast and attentive, the hamburger was delicious and also the bruschetta, also very good the not ordinary negroni proposed by Lorenzo. Compliments to all the staff. ps the only note is that there is no parking but otherwise fantastic ☺️

12/02/2026: My family and I dined here for dinner last week at Summit and we loved every course. I want to pass my sincere thanks to the restaurant for providing so many vegetarian options which is rare in the Italian Alps. We really hope this will encourage more people to consider vegetarian food. We will certainly return again in the summer when we come hiking.

09/09/2025: ⭐☆☆☆☆ A terrible and disappointing experience. My little sister and I sat on two chairs left outside the bar, without disturbing anyone and without doing anything wrong. At a certain point, the bartender came out and, instead of politely asking for the chairs to be put back, he started yelling and moving everything around in an impolite and aggressive manner. This rude and unnecessary behavior made the experience unpleasant and unpleasant. It really took very little: a polite tone and a normal request. Instead, we were met with gratuitous rudeness. It's absurd to treat people like this, especially when it comes to customers or potential customers. I will never return to a place where respect and even the slightest courtesy are lacking.

01/09/2025: The park is truly beautiful; the adult course is really challenging and well-designed! I took my 8- and 11-year-old children there with the constant support of Matteo, who was wonderful in his guidance and advice. The kids were much better than me in the end, and we had a blast! Plus, the view from up there is truly rewarding!
