13/03/2025: We were waiting for the main course for 45 mins and it was not as the menu: a portion of trout with herbs was a lazy filet of fish with a few slices of vegetables. After negation with the manager we were promised a new portion after 15 minutes. Well, after 15 minutes of waiting, we were our way off and the manager was just shouting a “bye-bye” after us. Not a place to recommend! DO NOT GO THERE!
25/01/2025: A successful, charming, traditional family run hotel. Our comfortable, tastefully decorated room overlooked the front garden and had a modern en suite bathroom. All the staff were genuinely helpful. The hotel has an atmospheric lounge cum bar area that was fun to be in after a day skiing. The restaurant serves delicious home cooked Italian food and there's an extensive wine list and well stocked cellar. Both the owner and his wife are sommeliers.

26/03/2025: Great raclette dinner! Service was great and authentic alpine experience. Remember to book raclette or fondue or hot stone menu beforehand. Vegetarian friendly options available on demand.

03/03/2025: Uno dei nostri posti preferiti per le giornate sulla neve a Champoluc.
Il Taconet può essere una tappa fissa per un break di metà mattina (toast e torte ottime…e un bombardino XL), la scelta giusta per un pranzo con gli amici tra una discesa e l’altra (molte alternative per chi vuole gustarsi prelibatezze o rimanere leggero - ma con gusto - per riprendere a sciare) e ancora….la meta per una serata unica.
Da provare almeno una volta la cena con arrivo sul gatto delle nevi….esperienza unica!!!!
Ulteriore valore aggiunto…la cortesia, professionalità e simpatia di tutto lo staff!
Consigliatissimo assolutamente!!!

02/04/2025: The place has a peculiar football atmosphere but the food was cold and scarce. Dirty bathrooms. The service was very inattentive, the owner was rude. I don't recommend it at all.

Ci siamo fermati per un pranzo dove abbiamo trovato prodotti ottimi ed abbondanti.

11/03/2025: Very nice and welcoming environment, with a warm and mountain atmosphere. We had dinner in the stone room, intimate and well decorated, which made the dinner very pleasant.
The menu offers quality ingredients; the dishes were good, but not surprising.
Prices a little higher than what was ordered. Overall, a good experience.

29/03/2025: The structure is immersed in a fairy tale. Attention to detail. We happened to be in the middle of a work group on vacation that monopolized some spaces but, beyond this, we had a great time. Thanks to Ettore first and foremost who literally spoiled us. A magical place to visit and love
01/02/2025: An extraordinary place, facing the highest famous peaks in Europe: the view is exceptional, it is a calm place filled with serenity.
The staff is just exceptional, especially Stéphanie at reception, Etoré at service and Iris for massages, but all the staff are available, attentive and very professional. Our stays are always short, in summer and winter, but each time it is a magnificent experience.

21/02/2025: Slightly secluded position on the slopes of Champoluc, an added value for a restaurant with breathtaking views but above all where you can eat very well. Good food, excellent wines, nice atmosphere between friendliness, friendliness and professionalism. Don't miss it!

I understand you can be stressed on Saturday lunch time in high season, but education is the basis if you have a business.
I enter out of breath with a child (3 years old) on my right hand and mini skis (clean) on my left hand under my arm. General purpose to ask if there was room for a 7 hour and day visa.
As soon as I enter I see the girl at the counter and I ask him "sorry, would there be room for 7?"...he replies and attacks me head-on saying: SKIS OFF. Starting from the assumption that in fact he is also right... however you read the situation, do you see me in difficulty for a moment and yet courteous and treat a potential customer like this?...
then I just reply: YES YES I just wanted to know availability and then we'll work on it. Again, always with the same tone: You don't have to ask for it at the cash desk but you have to go out with those skis.
So... you know what, thanks and goodbye. I left and we went to the bar across the street.
I repeat, you may be right, but there is a way and way to treat people miss....

31/01/2025: Great little bar with good atmosphere and traditional atmosphere. Champoluc is quiet this week but here was a little busier.
We didn't eat so can't comment on food, but drinks and cocktails were good and reasonably priced.

The staff were really friendly and chatty.
Young lad Tony and a very nice girl ( really sorry i don’t remember her name, short dark hair, early 40ies) working when we visited and they made the visit great.
