07/12/2025: A very cozy place with friendly and helpful staff. We arrived and wanted to watch F1 on their TV. Despite the crowds, they found us a spot without a reservation and went above and beyond to make sure we could watch the race on TV. The food was also delicious! Highly recommended.

07/12/2025: We were here for the 08/12/25 long weekend, Champoluc was in Over Turism, a rustic place, the staff always very kind even if overworked, the typical dishes really good, we tried the excellent tagliatelle, the polenta concia with porcini mushrooms was top, we asked for the addition of stew and sausage (top) which was kindly complimentary, platter of cured meats and cheeses, really good. Perfect place for aperitifs, they have Gin moments!

27/08/2025: Not because of the decades-long friendship that binds my wife and I to Andrea and his wife Micky, but Essentiel is always an absolute guarantee in Champoluc. Excellent menu complemented by an exceptional wine list. A special mention and thanks to the always professional and competent staff.

03/01/2026: Super satisfied! The staff was very kind, responsive, and welcoming. I tried both the Tomino alla Boscaiola and one of their pizzas. The cooking was perfect, and the dough was very light and easy to digest. Definitely worth a try.

21/01/2026: The place is very quaint, offering several traditional dishes. I recommend the polenta concia, which is truly delicious. My friend ordered ravioli and a tagliata, which were also excellent. The only downside was that when we went to the cashier to pay, the gentleman (perhaps the owner) seemed a bit annoyed. The waiters, however, were friendly. Reservations are recommended!

09/01/2026: Very good food; we really enjoyed the tagliata di sotto fillet, cooked perfectly. The tagliolini with hare and apple ragù were very good, and the polenta concia was a 3/5. The place is cute, and the owners are very kind.

29/08/2025: A warm and attentive welcome, a splendid location with a view of the Ayace Valley, and food focused on Aosta Valley specialties, all delicious. We returned to complete our samplings. Aosta Valley soup, crespelle, porcini mushroom soup, onion soup...and then the desserts, with whipped cream made with their own milk. Highly recommended!

09/09/2025: ⭐☆☆☆☆ A terrible and disappointing experience. My little sister and I sat on two chairs left outside the bar, without disturbing anyone and without doing anything wrong. At a certain point, the bartender came out and, instead of politely asking for the chairs to be put back, he started yelling and moving everything around in an impolite and aggressive manner. This rude and unnecessary behavior made the experience unpleasant and unpleasant. It really took very little: a polite tone and a normal request. Instead, we were met with gratuitous rudeness. It's absurd to treat people like this, especially when it comes to customers or potential customers. I will never return to a place where respect and even the slightest courtesy are lacking.

01/09/2025: The park is truly beautiful; the adult course is really challenging and well-designed! I took my 8- and 11-year-old children there with the constant support of Matteo, who was wonderful in his guidance and advice. The kids were much better than me in the end, and we had a blast! Plus, the view from up there is truly rewarding!

26/10/2025: Excellent food; we tried the platter, the tagliatelle with venison ragù, and the polenta with venison cheek—all truly authentic. The view is breathtaking, and the owner is hospitable. A glass of Chardon is also highly recommended.
